Well here we are, after 2 years of head-scratching speculation and many weeks of trial detail-thrashing. It looks like the Judge will give his directions to the jury on Tuesday, after which they'll be sequestered in a local motel (I do not envy them this) to reach a verdict.

Clearly we're not privy to every last piece of evidence shown at the trial, but those of us who've been following closely will surely have formed an opinion one war or the other.

So, I ask you- if you were on the jury- what would your verdict be?

Can we view it in the UK?

There is a series on Ch5, I'm not sure if it the same one. I haven't seen it, just saw it advertised.

Stan is an Australian streaming service, owned by channel 9. The first episode (which aired on Stan in September) of the 3-part doco screened on 9 on December 7, I think to encourage sign ups to Stan to watch parts 2 or 3 which were released that same day.

I've just watched parts 2 and 3. In a way there is nothing new, if you've followed the case and trial obsessively, but it is a thoughtful documentary that does put things out in sequence in a clear manner and I found it very interesting to watch.

PS. Dr Chris Webster was marvellous in it, though. I am so team Webster.

I saw part of the first episode. Similar to Nine's Mushroom Murders and the doco on 7 that aired back in July. Once you've seen one you've seen all at this point. There's only so many ways you can re-word and re-tell the exact same story with the exact same details. Though I will look at seeing the other 2 episodes.

Sorry but I think Dr Chris Webster is dining out on this heavily and is looking to become a celebrity. He is even planning a book. Christ, not even her estranged husband is doing that. I have a bad feeling about that Dr to be honest.

It is because of his astute, carefully worded and prompt phone call to emergency services, made with the explicit intention to have it all on record and spelt out, that the police had a headstart in this case. EP was not expecting any of that.

I believe her estranged husband is planning a podcast.

Not really. Nine's was filmed well before much of what is now known was known, so was replete with incorrect assumptions and 'facts'. The only interesting thing was seeing the countryside and also the FBI woman's pov.

Parts 2 and 3 were more interesting, I thought, and certainly more nuanced and thoughtful than anything else that has screened.

Yep. He has been rebuked re professional standards but I’m a silent cheer squad. If not for him I don’t think any of this would have got as far as it did or with the result it did. His subsequent theatrics have been, professionalism aside, very entertaining.

It’s available in the UK on Netflix on 16th Dec. I saw it on my Netflix “coming soon” page.
