Well hopefully if the bloody weather would cheer up they are all going to the park nearby and I am going in on my own.It's been pouring here all day so far.There's no way I would let dh come and watch what I buy he would know how much I am spending then.He always gets a washed down version of how much I've spent

Ah, DH is so laid back. He really wouldn't mind how much I spent. (within reason ) I deal with all the household finances anyway.

It is trying to justify the need to myself that I have problems with. We are supposed to be cutting back, so that we can re-mortgage and extend next year! That way I will get my crafter dream. My very own workroom! That's got to be worth making a few cut backs hasn't it!

Wow Dingle that's fantastic!We've just had the exact same idea we're going to build a little conservatory on the dining room and so I can have a crafting room there oh and a porch on the back door.I want to save up to do it so it won't be for another 2 years I've decided but at least I won't have to wait for my own room for when the kids leave home.

Well we had a conservatory built about 3 years ago now, and I have overtaken that! But it is south facing, and with all vents etc open, £3000 worth of roof blinds and fan on, it still reached about 100 o last friday. I really need to more things like my rubber stamps, ink pads..before the heat damages them. I have noticed that some of the edges of my papers have also faded, where they were exposed to the sun in their folders last year!
I have to make sure I do my crafting in the mornings before it gets too hot in there!
I think at some stage we will have to invest in an air conditioning unit!

That should have been "move" the rubber stamps, but somehow my brain made my type more more 8more*...this craft addiction has taken over!

That is very hot Dingle.Presumably it wouldn't be too bad in the evenings.I only craft in the evenings as have a couple of part time jobs in theday.But I have changed my hours now with one job to three times at midday a week so I can have Friday afternoon to craft before the kids come hom.So far though it's been taken up with food shopping typical.

Yes layla, it cools down quite quickly.

It's an exciting thought at having the work done. Even more exciting having your very own crafty place. Just think-more room for more goodies!

The size of the card scared me though as I have only been working with smaller ones !

Whizz, I have had that mesh for about a year!!I just haven't been inspired by it-until now!

It cost about 48p a metre from Craft creations. I am ordering this week, I will have to get some silver too now!

Don't be put off by the size of the card, think "less is more!" Have fun.

is that...ssshhhh...wallpaper? It is absolutely fab! I have been known to rumage around Homebase looking for inspiration, and come home with my shopping bags stuffed with "samples!"

I am confused, I have an idea for my card, but is it too obvious, will our cards come out too alike.
