Not taking it for granted that AQ will do another one, but if not, perhaps someone else will offer.

I don't want to take it for granted AQ!

So who is interested and what ideas?

I would love to join in but have about 20/30 cards to prioritise first!

Oh no,what an idiot I am,yes I have Dingle.Sorry AQ that's just typical of me to get it wrong.I've made 2 different cards and sent out 2 different bits and pieces!!And I've made a different card with Jayzmummys bits and pieces so I've made 3 different cards.Oh blow.Sorry everyone.What shall I do now?

hello layla, other than the challenge...how are you doing?
don't worry about it and that is all you have to do!
it doesn't make one bit of difference, really. other than to you, who has had to make up one extra card to the rest of us
i'll email whizzz and ask her to take a pic of the B&P in case she doesn't see the thread.

oh, we had a lovley time. bought ....hmmm...what did i buy???
chalks, vellum glue dots(rip off), nice papers.
was disappointed with the doodlebug paers as altho' they had about 20 they weren't the co-ordinating ones and they didn't have the right ribbons to go with the apers they had. bit crap really.

also bought some crystls to make into angels ready for ..shhh..Christmas!!

I wish I could get out for a bit of retail therapy. Have had nearly a fortnight of this rotten sickness bug, it just seems to be going round and round.

AQ what do you mean "crystals?"

they are glkass beads really..a spherical one, a winged one and a cone shped one...you thread them onto wire and BINGO an angel

Oh they sound really lovely AQ.Gosh you're not starting on your xmas things now are you?I was thinking definately August as I was cut short last year with some orders and didn't have time to make all my own cards and had to gulp buy some printed ones!

Dingle poor you having bugs hope you're feeling good soon.Yes a bit of retail therapy does wonders really.Hubby is coming with me this time so he can show me the way to go.It's only in Newport but I'm hopeless finding places and need to do it a few times but hopefully this will be the last time he needs to show me then I will be swanning off there lots when I know the way.Everyone in my family hates craft shopping so am better going on my own.They all have a right old moan.It's funny as dd loves to make cards but says that craft shops are her worse shops.lol.

DS absolutely hates hobbycraft. My nearest is about 15 miles away, and we pass MILs on the way so we usually take the children to visit and then go to Hobby craft on route. DD is still a handful, otherwise I would drop them both off an Nanny's & Grandad's and have a couple of hours having a really good look around!

I hate being rushed, and I normally get in the car and halfway home think, oh damn-I forgot to get XXXX!

I usually bribe them to be good when we visit any craft shops but I only have about 20 mins in there tops.When I go to Hobbycraft I like to look at everything so I'm in there about 1 hour.

don't let dh in the shop with you!!! make sure he takes something to read!
hobbycraft used to do really good make and take sessions during school hols but for some reason they have stopped them.
dd loves hobbycraft, we have a couple of others too that she would go to every weekend! lol
we are going to go to dawn bibby's place tomorrow
