I would love to join in but have about 20/30 cards to prioritise first!

Hi Everyone. Sorry not be in touch earlier1 Been busy with card orders! I took them in to work to show one of the girls and now I have got 15 cards to make!

I sent out my B&P's today so they should be with you both tomorrow. I have also receieved my bits too. The bits from Hi5 were really exciting1 I didnt know what bit to do first!

I have made the cards so what do I do now?
Do I post photos? And of what?!

Also I dont know how to log in to the yahoo site to put that I received my B&P.
Can someone let me know how?

Wendy, here are the guidelines (I'm a first timer too !)

1.Make one card with the theme ?Wedding?.
2.Gather together two lots of the bits and pieces (B&P) that you used to make your card.
3. Take a photograph of the B&P.
4.Send the 2 lots of identical B&P to your 2 Challenge Chums (CC) ? i.e. one lot per CC. To arrive by Tuesday May 31st?2 weeks today.
5.Once both of your CCs have said they have received their B&P you can upload the photograph onto the yahoo site here

6.When you receive your B&P, make a card and take a photograph of it.
7.When your senders other CC has also completed their card you can both upload them onto the yahoo album listed above. Please remember to label them so that we know who has made it using whose B&P.
8.Once both of your CCs have uploaded the cards the original can be uploaded.

Wendy, go into the database screen, find your name on the challenge, I think you are on page 2. On the right hand side of the screen click on edit on your name line.

Can I just ask why some people say no to brads? I had never used them before Dingle and AQ sent me some in the last challenge - but they're not hard to use. I understand that eyelets need a special tool, but brads don't - or am I doing it wrong?!

I don't know HunkerM! I just use the tip of my craft knife to make a small hole in the card and then push it through.

I have only recently started using them TBH, but I think they can add so much more to a simple design.
I have only got basic gold, silver, and now white and copper. There are loads more I need to get though.

Have also made the cards [showing off smiley] but only because I have an essay to write ASAP and knew the card making stuff would distract me!!

I'm glad you both got your bits from me.Dingle I know what you mean about them both coming out similar but I have a feeling they won't somehow.Can't wait to see what you both make and if they are similar to mine.Or just how different they'll be.

Just had a look in SC&P but can't find any cards with Layla on them. Can you describe your card, cos I'm curious to know which one it is.

Not too fiddly though !

Layla - your B&P lead me to go to B&Q & look for wallpaper samples . All our walls are painted by the way & are staying like that - but don't tell B&Q

Whizzz, I wasn't being controversial - I just hadn't seen you'd said no to brads!!

I think they look fab - they really make a card look "expensive" IMO.

I thought I should know your real name because of the swap we did, I was getting confused. Half term has worn me out have been off all week with kids, without much break as DH has been away a couple of days.

The card is lovely, you get your cards in lots of mags, do you have to wait long to see if there are going to publish

but good idea...post on your B&P to your CCs then all you have to worry about is getting them in the post.
