Liz - there isn't a fb page for the blanketeers, just the one currently for a potential evening Glasgow meet-up - but I think you are already on that.

A few of us have got to "know" each other and have since linked up on fb. Maybe we should set up a Scottish Blanketeers fb group! :)

Oh I think it picked up the wrong end of the stick when I skim read through this thread this morning. I am already on the night out group. I don't think I can set it up on my phone, don't think I'll make it to the laptop tonight after my early start.

Hairy, you can do it, just remember to go through the holes between each set of 3trc, double chain the corners.

It was a lovely day and I got a job interview when I was flinging my bag contents around still not home though.

How would people feel about making this a monthly thing? Maybe alternating between the Tramway and the Burrell?

I would love that! The only problem may be that the only day that suits everyone (afaik) is Monday and I know you have other knitters to tend to that day.

I've just ordered three bals of the stylecraft yarn, for the mini-hugs project - and I've finished the pink triangular scarf I was knitting on Monday, so I need a new project.

Am going to have to start on a Mini WoollyHug 'cos I'm 2/3 of the way up the sleeve of my wee Icelandic jumper and I need another ball of white Icelandic wool , but dh has decanted the spare bedroom 'cos he's putting new carpet down and god knows where my stash of Icelandic wool is

I've got 4 balls of white shade 11 the others are pink shades

I'm making a chunky, crochet floor blanket for the cat who doesn't move things I can't knit, it just went, knit one, hole one.

Definitely need regular meet-ups! We'll get you knitting and maybe I'll give crocheting a go
