OOO.. I am starting to get worried now. I have made my little book (!!!!!) and had such fun last night making up the front cover.

I have jotted down some notes to include in "my rules" and while I had my thinking cap on (double !!!!) I wrote out some journalling ideas for my 1st DLO.

Can someone help my as to what comes next please? Inside the front cover...where do I put the rules and sign in page please. I am stumped to which order to make to pages in now. I just wish I hadn't dithered so much and been a bit more prepared. As I was making up my cover last night I was thinking of all the lovely matching embellishments I could have got !!! My purse thinks perhaps it was a good thing I did join up late!!!

I have only half down my front cover, nothing else.

Inside front cover....good place to put sign in tags
1st page...Intro page
2nd and 3rd make youir first DLO
Inside back cover good place to add further sign in tags and last page ideal place to put your address tag so if the book gets lost in transit it can be returned to you.

Right so can I ..for example do this?

Do front cover..and back.

Decorate inside front cover and using that and the opposite page put my rules and intro.

Make up my 1st DLO

On last pages, including inside back cover, make up as sign in pages.

OMG!!! That sounds like so much work to do in so little time!!

JM- my theme is "life begins" a book of dreams, ambitions, resolutions.....inspied by someone hitting a certain age next month!!

Oh yes, and because I made up my own book.. I was planning to just tie it up loosely with ribbons or fibres. I was going to add enough pages to complete a set amount of pages each and when it was complete, finish binding properly!
After reading JMs notes in yahoo would it be best to get rings to bind it with first. If so, where can you get them please?

JM, have you any other colours? If possible bronzy, browny or goldy....if not silver would be great. I've never used them before are they all the same sort of size?

My album is made in the same way I did my "little book of love" is about 6x6" and has 3 holes for binding.

While I think about it JM, did you ever do those GAW cuts for me. Not a problem as I have the set now, but I keep meaning to ask. Whatever, do you still want the quilled green and blue flowers? LMK! AS I am sending to you I can pop them in with a journal.

please, pretty please... can anyone lead me back to the instructions / suggestions / ideas message that was previously posted. I'm searching atm!! I can't link to the examples in the yahoo website because it is blocked at work (yes, I know... not the most efficient use of my work time ). I can't access ukscrappers from here either. Dingle....the silver ones I have are all the same size. I normally paint them with plasticote to change them to the colour I want.
Gold/bronze ones are hard to come buy at a reasonable price....try canny crafts for HOTP sara book attachment packs??? They are expensive though for what you get in the pack!

Art base do packs of junkits rings but they come in a pack and the rings are in three sizes....so if you want all the same sized rings in the same colour you need to buy three packs at £2.99 each!
they are short of stock ATM though so its best to give them a call first before ordering to make sure they have them in stock. The girls are really helpful

Ive got loads of silver....only three bronze and I need them...sorry apart from that I have only pastel colours left until I place my order for stock next month.

If you want silver then I can pop them in the post and when my new stock arrives I can swap them over for the colour you want.

If you could send me some flowers though that would be ace. Would you like a bag of fibres as a straight swap?

That way at least it can be worked on a bit more easily as it goes round the rest of the group. If you get your new supplies in in time then another colour would be great, if not, send it off to the next scrapper with silver.

Re; the daisies, how many do you want? Unless you want loads....I really don't think you need to send anything in return it is time that it takes, not the cost of the flowers. I will try to get them done and off to you with my CJ , but if not will the month after be OK?
