It feels odd to be starting a thread here after all this time!

We lost dd2 to trisomy 18 last year. I'm now pregnant again and as part of our screening we've decided to have the harmony package at the fmc. My viability scan and blood draw is Monday and I'm shitting myself.

I guess I'm just asking for a hand hold and if anyone else has done the package there and what did the think? Was your first scan transvaginal? I had an 8 week tv scan but not sure if it will need to be at 10 weeks?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm normally here trying answer other people's questions 😳

Yeah I think it's only just starting to feel real for us now. Got everything crossed for you. Will you call early or are you going to wait until your next appointment?

That's wonderful news kitty. So lovely to know so early you are having a boy. Flowers

Thanks. It does feel good. Tbh just having those negative results in writing has made a huge difference

Hope you can start to relax a little now x

I think I'll wait till the next appointment. Even if the Harmony results are there and good this week I'd still be a bit worried that something goes wrong between the 10 and 12 week scans, so I wouldn't feel 'clear' in any case? And I guess if it's bad news from the Harmony they might get in touch sooner anyway? This week my task is to phone the hospital and chase a booking in appointment, I'm 11 weeks today and have a nuchal scan appointment and a Birthing Clinic appointment (for mid May!) but still no booking in appointment...

Yes they will call you as soon as they get results if they are high risk or no result.

I called and got my low risk results early but you're right, I didn't feel like it was fully negative until I'd been for the scan etc.
That's pretty bad that they've not given you a booking appointment yet!

I think the problem may be that the trust the hospital is in, normally there you're seen by the community midwife for the booking in, but the trust where I now live they do it at the hospital. I've asked to go out of area to this hospital as it's where I had DS and feel safe there. Anyway will phone them later and find out!
