[whispers]

EccentricaGallumbits · 03/06/2010 12:36

I quite fancy amanda too. she's very pretty.

DastardlyandSmugly · 03/06/2010 12:44

Oooh lamplighter me too and had a very embarassing time last year when I saw him at Camp Bestival. Was chatting to a friend who I'd bumped into there and pointed him out to her 'Oooh look there's Louis Theroux'. Next thing she hares off after him shouting 'Louis Louis'. Turns out she knows him really well and had arranged to meet up with him there. I was mortified

baskingseals · 03/06/2010 12:47

in a weak moment dh admitted to fancying amanda holden - providing me with now daily opportunities of piss taking and general merriment

thanks for sharing dh

shockers · 03/06/2010 12:48

Hmmm... I don't think you'll have too much competition lamplighter, but each to their own... and I'm hardly in a position to judge now am I?

( Marcus Brigstocke however )

shockers · 03/06/2010 12:49

I'll stop now.

OP, YABU

LarkinSky · 03/06/2010 12:52

I've had the joy of spending time with Mr Cowell for professional reasons (I work in media), and to my shame, yes, I did find something strangely sexy about him.

He's SO NOT MY TYPE ever, and I don't find him remotely attractive on TV. But in the flesh, he is pretty damn charming (although no better looking), flirtatious and a good conversationalist. I don't think he's gay.

I used to work with Piers too - he is about as fanciable as Louis Walsh.

YANBU. But don't admit it in real life.

TiggyR · 03/06/2010 12:53

My DH really fancies Amanda. And Cheryl Cole. Which is funny because I look not a jot like either of them

He sits there looking like a stupid puppy dog whenever they are on screen.

Whereas I myself have a terrible Dannii crush.

lamplighter · 03/06/2010 12:55

I also had a bit of a pash for Christopher Plummer in the Sound of Music but DP refuses to dress up as an Austrian sea captain which is very selfish and mean of him. I thought we could renact the thigh slapping dance him and Julie Andrews do in the film.

SC and PM can't hold a candle to Captain Von Trapp

shockers · 03/06/2010 12:57

louis Walsh... now yer talkin.

Just kidding.

baskingseals · 03/06/2010 13:06

thanks for info lark, especially bit about simon cowell NOT being gay

course he isn't

Granny23 · 03/06/2010 13:08

Now what about Ant & Dec? I do love the wee one (can never remember which is which!) but I would like to be his mum - anything else is just wrong, wrong!!!!

TiggyR · 03/06/2010 13:23

The little one is Dec. And I love him. I definitely don't want to be his mum.

He's hot. Makes me fidget in my armchair.

LarkinSky · 03/06/2010 13:25

Ant & Dec? Twould be like fancying Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Louis Walsh is surprisingly funny... but I don't think I'm his type.
Or SC for that matter - I think he only has eyes for himself. I'm just letting the OP know she's not the only one entertaining worrying thoughts.

BelleDameSansMerci · 03/06/2010 13:29

PMSL at Tweedles...

I've fancied Simon Cowell for ages.

And I quite like Piers Morgan too. I have notoriously appalling taste in men.

TiggyR · 03/06/2010 13:33

I bet it's not as bad as mine BDSM. For years and years I had the hots for Danny Baker. (still do, a bit.)

BelleDameSansMerci · 03/06/2010 13:53

Tiggy!!!!!!!!!! PMSL again. I'll be needing Tena Lady at this rate.

EccentricaGallumbits · 03/06/2010 13:59

I'll see you michael palin and raise you john

OP posts:
TiggyR · 03/06/2010 14:00

He is gorgeous. No embarrassment there.

TiggyR · 03/06/2010 14:01

John, I mean.

bobbiewickham · 03/06/2010 14:06

I've loved Michael Palin for years.

A few years back he did a book signing near here.

I went and had a shufty. Yep. Even hotter in real life.

lamplighter · 03/06/2010 14:20

I went to a Michael Palin book signing and turned into a pile of romantic mush and ran out again. Too embarrassed to ask for his autograph and didn't trust myself not to lick his eyelids if I did get close.

[Sigh]
