I am sorry if i offended anyone with my posts on the benefits party thread. It wasn't my intentions at all. If i did, please accept my most sincere apology.

I didn't set out to offend anyone at all.

Just seen that thread. I think the TV thing is very stereotypical in that I've seen it on here before "on benefits with big TV how do they afford it" sort of thing.
You're nice to apologise, FWIW I don't fit in here so won't bother for much longer and understand what you said on the other thread about openess and honesty, some people just don't like me even though I think I'm nice It's the name of the game

CheekyVimtoGal · 04/05/2010 16:06

Exactly. I am nice, just some people seem to see through that part of me and only see the honesty part of me. Im sorry but i dont bullshit around people, if i have something to say i say it. Lol.

Mmm, the funniest is when people make snidey remarks, get a reaction and then whine about aggression and get posts deleted. I don't do passive aggression

CheekyVimtoGal · 04/05/2010 16:11

I have to try to walk away because my mouth gets away from me [oops] I came on this forum to make new friends but havn't succeeded yet why do you think you dont fit in?

OP posts:
junglist1 · 04/05/2010 16:16

Just the way I come across and also I have quite different views on a lot of stuff. I don't like the way people get rounded on sometimes, and as you found out people sometimes claim to know more about you than you do, especially when it comes to finances. There are some really nice people but some think I'm a bit mad. I'm not

CheekyVimtoGal · 04/05/2010 16:22

Yes there are a few nice people on this forum,, but then you can see them on one thread and then on another they are been nasty. So you don't know how to take them.

I am honest, open and if anyone asks me anything il tell them what they want to hear or not what they want to hear. I like to make new friends, i live in an area where i have family but my cousins dont acknowledge that i live in the same town. which is sad

the only friend i have never seems to want to meet us, but she is pregnant and spends alot of time at home. My hubby works weekdays and the girls at school stare at anyone not in their clique like they have 3 heads. So you cant win. I come on here for some normal adult mummy conversations and a laugh but sometimes people go too far with judging others that you can't enjoy yourself.

If that made sense at all lol

OP posts:
junglist1 · 04/05/2010 16:24

Yeah it did (I said yeah not yes shoot me lol)

CheekyVimtoGal · 04/05/2010 16:39

I like you junglist!

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 16:44

Really??!! Flippin hell are you new

HairExtensions · 04/05/2010 16:52

well, if you are going to insult me by calling me a newbie then i will have to take it back!

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 16:54

No don't will flounce if you do

RooBear · 04/05/2010 16:55

I'm pretty new on here and I find it pretty strange to insult and 'not like' a poster when you don't know them. If you don't agree offer contructive advice or debate or why bother?

SwissCheeseIsHolyCheesus · 04/05/2010 16:56

I'm always nice

This place can be very snipey at times tho, least you've had the good grace to apologise

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 16:59

People develop reputations though. I know who the feminists are, who the animal lovers are etc. My rep is "the angry one" I think. Bastards

usualsuspect · 04/05/2010 17:00

I like you too junglist and often agree with your veiws ...No one ever agrees with me either

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 17:02

Oh yeah I've noticed you around! You are funny (in a good way)

cupcakesandbunting · 04/05/2010 17:03

You're right, of course.

Mumsnet is one of the most hostile forums I've ever been on. You get trounced for saying stuff like you don't like chavs swearing in the park yet get applauded for being openly aggressive in shops etc. You'll never work this place out which is kind of why I like it. If I wanted all "yes hun, no hun, three bags full hun" I'd be over at the board of which we shall not speak.

SwissCheeseIsHolyCheesus · 04/05/2010 17:04

Its raining

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 17:06

I was bloody freezing earlier! Bought a load of 3 quarter pants and vests last week and can't wear them (not on benefit money though)

SwissCheeseIsHolyCheesus · 04/05/2010 17:07

There is no right or wrong way to mumsnet, nly takes one miss stirry pants to start griping, encouraging all the bunfight lovers and the whole thread descends into screeching harpy chaos

Tiredmumno1 · 04/05/2010 17:09

I am the same i dont feel liked alot of the time on here, just mostly get ignored

and dont feel to bad cheeky my situ is worse, i dont actually have any friends

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 17:09

That's what I hate TBH. There's no need for it, the lists of insulting, demeaning posts

junglist1 · 04/05/2010 17:11

I recognise you Tired! Agreed with you on a recent thread can't remember what it was
