I've bought cheapo duvets for the living room, can't afford to be having the heating on at this time of yr, i'm sat under a bloody duvet with ds wearing fingerless gloves, my nose is freezing tho!

i like reading the threads and don't really post much but i do feel that i get a lot from MN in terms of advice and info, a bit of company when DH and DCs are in bed and a lot of posters are really funny

Hi Bronze! Not flouncing or anything just think i'll avoid threads where I know I'll get flamed ie benefits, the OW, animal rights, circumcision (gulp). Will just stick to giving support where I can

There's been more than one benefit blowout involving me on here What happens is I start off calm when I don't want to, get flamed by more than one person and then go bananas. Pretty much my MO I think

I have no friends locally and I feel isolated especially with having DS. However, he started playgroup a few weeks ago and I've found two mums that I really get on well with and we're planning on doing stuff together with LOs. I've lived here for seven years and thought I'd never find any friends but it's happened

Read the benefits party thread, i posted about my situation and surprise surprise it was questioned lol. reading it back i can totally understand but ateotd we have been in that situation 3 years, why shouldnt we treat ourselves
