which threads?
ouch.

frakkinaround · 22/03/2010 23:25

Counting myself among the totally confused.

What would you like to talk about? Biscuits?

Personally I like a dark chocolate digestive (simple yet classic) although I am rather partial to gingernuts.

choosyfloosy · 22/03/2010 23:30

The Peaks, personally.

Heracles · 22/03/2010 23:32

Nothing so controversial as biscuit choices if you don't mind.

I don't mind talking about anything except for how Samathana Cameron has got pregnant 'on purpose' to win the election because if I read one more post along those lines I'm just going to pack the whole mumsnet thing in.

So - I had M&S chinese for tea (as it's my birthday) - they seem to have redesigned the packaging. Any thoughts on that?

Thank you Barry

Hercules you muppet - the chinese food has new packaging and you know that very well so cut out the syntax assaination or I'll have to start a thread about that!

The packaging is red by the way - and sort of patterned and you still have to pierce the film.....

ShinyAndNew · 22/03/2010 23:50

I could give all a task if you like?

I want a nice slow cooker recipe involving pork and fruit, apples probably but open to other ideas. Something nice and fresh tasting.

I just googled and it brought up Netmums. It is very pink over there isn't it? They have a very good recipe section though.

happybirthday lurker!
im suprised you got M&S chinese, any good?
unless it comes from an actual chinese with free prawn crackers it just doesnt taste right to me....

oh and biscuits? i love a classic digestive myself. but if im feeling bad, the Choco Leibniz ones are lush.

Northernlurker · 22/03/2010 23:59

Well dh is away and I'm home with the children so M&S was the best option. It's different from takeaway but nice.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/03/2010 00:01

Biscuits? - Meh. I'd rather have a chunk of a really sharp cheddar. Anyone agree?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/03/2010 00:06

Shiny - Stick leftover roast pork , carrots, onions, apples ( best bramleys, cookers or at the very least granny smiths,) stock and a dollop of mustard in. Then clear the stuff 'on it's way out' fom the veg drawer. Add. Serve with cheesy mash (if poss a nice sharp cheddar in the mash.)Enjoy.

BTW, do I get some kind of prize for most commas used in a post?

JustAnotherManicMummy · 23/03/2010 00:10

oooh I like a bit of cheese.

BritFish · 23/03/2010 00:13

bitter and twisted.
[hands over cheese shaped prize]
god, i eat good mature cheddar like a chocolate bar.

blogpage · 23/03/2010 00:16
Biscuit
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/03/2010 00:18

Is it an edible prize BritFish? Or merely cheese shaped? If the latter, I will gratefully decline, thanks muchly.

BritFish · 23/03/2010 00:33

oh no, it's shaped like a cheese, and is a cheese. in fact, its not actually a prize, its just some cheese. i should have made that clearer

Dogandbone · 23/03/2010 00:37

Biscuits represent one of the greatest threats to human civilisation. David Cameron knows this. An oatcake is not a biscuit.

They also symbolise the worst of capitalism. They steal our time.

I can't remember the last time I ate a biscuit.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/03/2010 00:40

Oh, in that case... Sorry it reminded me of this

BritFish · 23/03/2010 00:47

love it.

bicuits took my soul...[sob]

Heracles · 23/03/2010 01:06

I go away for checks an hour and a bit only to discover some biscuit NAZI has hijacked my thread. This will not stand.

The thread title CLEARLY indicates I'm interested in discussing whether the Moon landings were, in fact, a hoax, but can we stick to that? Can we hell as like. Two minutes in and it's custard creams this, fondant fancies that (and they're bloody CAKES. You couldn't make this shit up, could you?).

You people make me literally (not literally, that would be weird) sick.

For shame.
