Is there someone that lives in Brighton?
I have heard a rumor that Mr Cave and his wife are expecting another baby.
Is there someone that knows if it's true?

Bettymoon
I am sorry but I think you are a loon
Or being deliberately obtuse
What are you hoping for?

Walking along Hove seafront with a water bottle does not make you pregnant

ROFL @ this thread still going. That photo is almost 2 months old.....maybe it was hot and she wanted a drink.

Liffey · 04/11/2008 21:37

What do you drink when you're thirsty betty? a nice cup of soup? an instant coffee perhaps?

Liffey · 04/11/2008 21:38

Maybe Bettymoon drinks pinot grigio when she's thirsty. THAT would explain this thread very well.

Hey I don't know if she's pregnant.Someone has reported here a rumor. The musician Warren Ellis said to some fans that someone in the band was having a kid. They don?t remember if he said Nick or Mick.
I guess you don't walk around your house carrying a big bottle of water unless you are very thirsty. So my guessing is that if there is a pregnant woman MAYBE she's Nick Cave's wife.

SlowlyFadingForms · 04/11/2008 23:17

bettymoon,I think that your supposition is not wrong at all!
Anyway lets wait and see.....he might make some sorta announcement or someone that lives in the area could see his wife around and report here!

I don't live in Brighton but for reasons I don't have time to get into the details of,I'm pretty sure that it's true.I hope he's going to have a daughter this time.

blacklove · 06/11/2008 13:37

Yes denise100 it's true(that Nick Cave and his wife are expecting another child)

Talia22 · 06/11/2008 14:19

How lovely- congrats to them both!

Liffey · 06/11/2008 14:21

9 pages of speculation over whether or not the wife of a bloke I've never heard of is pregnant. There must be something I'm missing.

P.P.S. If we've got it all wrong, then please stop drinking water in public and CONFUSING EVERYONE!!!

Grammaticus · 06/11/2008 14:56

I think it is ok to drink water as long as you are standing up at the time

Lotster · 06/11/2008 15:03

Not with your legs propped up by pillows...?

"If you wash your bottle of water down with a bottle of gin and have a hot bath you won't get pregnant."
Stop with it!
This isn't funny, it's just childish and stupid.
If you don't understand what I mean,at least stop bothering. Also because probably I'm right.

Lotster · 06/11/2008 15:22

Betty, I found this sense of irony on the floor, is it yours?

Talia22 · 06/11/2008 15:23

"Stop with it"- love that expression (reminds me of "enough already")- are you American Betty?

Elffriend · 06/11/2008 15:31

There must surely be a prize for most surreal thread? I cannot believe this one keeps coming back!

Can some kind soul please explain the water bottle = thirsty = pregnant thing?

If she were walking along the seafront eating kipper and banana ice-cream I might concede it was a bit odd but.....eh?

Elffriend · 06/11/2008 15:33

Breaking news.....

Male Pregnancy Shock

"I knew he was having an affair, but I did not think it would come to this" sobbed his distraught wife from their home in Hove.

Lotster, John Cleese recently made a very rude remark about the American sense of irony in relation to his ex-wife (disclaimer- not that I agree with him and in fact I have gone off him big time during his divorce).

But maybe Betty isn't American anyway- who knows- it's just one more mystery in this enthralling thread.
