I kind of know it is but can’t seem to stay away … anyone else?

Oh I see. It wasn't very clear tbh.

It was crystal clear - poster said MN was “good for mine” ie for her MH.

There was a delightful post at the start of Covid about a woman vomiting on an aircraft and so many MNetters piled out saying she she should wearing a mask when vomiting.

Covid showed up many MNetters as being mean, nasty people who of course have all name changed since.

Brave people, not.

Yeah I had to delete it for a while. It’s addictive.

I don’t own a computer! I do everything on my phone.

How do you type on your phone using more than 1 finger on each hand?

Wonder if that's an age thing because I can only use one finger on my phone but type fast.

I use both my thumbs and type fast - plus I’m on a phone so it has predictive text

The vast majority of us use phones, although I would be much quicker on a laptop as I can touch type around 70 wpm.

@kidsnetflix just LTB!

You never forget how to touch type! Learned how to it on an old manual typewriter!

I have no idea how you use your thumbs to type on a tiny child-sized phone screen without constantly hitting the wrong keys. I use my index fingers to ensure I'm hitting the right keys, but I still make far more typos on a phone.

Thanks. I’m self taught too 🤗

Lots of practice I guess 😆

I use a PC most of the time - I've got hand deformities so find small screens incredibly difficult. I use voice commands on my phone though, they really are a massive help.

WRT MN and poor mental health, the trick is to take everything with a pinch of salt. Stories are embellished, salaries and house prices are increased, puddings are overegged and the salads are massive.

Yes, people can be bloody horrible at times. Try and bear in mind that they clearly cannot be happy in themselves. Perhaps the massive salary is earned solely by a husband who is never there. The brand new Audi could be on crippling HP. The private schooling might mean there is nothing left over for holidays, meals out and other fun things. The SAHM could be lonely and bored out of her mind. The awful people here are not happy with their lot and are unable to count their blessings. Don't let them get you down because you don't deserve to be burdened by a complete strangers unhappiness.

YourRoseFinch · Yesterday 22:08

Yeah it's just a bunch of bitches judging people and telling them what to do.

LTB

😂

Waitingfordoggo · Yesterday 22:12

Why do you hang out on here with the ‘bitches’ @YourRoseFinch ? I wouldn’t want to spend time in a space that I found so unpleasant .

XenoBitch · Yesterday 22:14

I think that too sometimes, but then I remind myself that it is a few posters on here that have been terrible for my MH, and not the site itself. Some people get personal, and there is no need for it.

Waitingfordoggo · Yesterday 22:15

True @XenoBitch . And it’s probably worth remembering that many of the most unpleasant posters will themselves be suffering from mental illness or personality disorders because it isn’t normal behaviour.

Tbf, the pp's post was perfectly clear. You just didn't read it properly.

Bloomin eck no wonder OP is stating MN is no good for her ! Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill!

Nah, some people are just nasty.

Waitingfordoggo · Yesterday 22:47

Yup @XenoBitch . Rude and angry people are usually deeply unhappy. They’re hurting in some way. (Hurt people hurt people) It always comes from somewhere (but isn’t excusable either way).

McSpoot · Yesterday 22:50

smallglassbottle · Yesterday 15:01

To you it was clear.

It was clear to me too.

I have nothing to add to the actual thread but whilst there weren't any ducks in the pond today, I saw five baby herons! I might try to ask them to form a row.
