Should I fly to America for a gig?

So my favourite singer ever is playing a series of gigs in Utah in October. It’s over the weekend my kids are with their dad. Is it mental to fly there Thursday see the gigs Saturday and Sunday and fly back Monday? Get the kids back Tuesday? I can afford it - I’d be going alone. I’m scared . Would anyone else/ has anyone else done something like this?

Agreee.... Nah im sorry - Taylor Swift is doing a 1 hr car journey in a private jet.. i think OPs once in a life time trip is granted.

I care deeply about the environment but I highly doubt my paper straws are making much of an input while billionaires are flying the sky's

Will the plane not go if the OP stays at home? What difference does one more passenger make?

An industry that is at least as bad for the environment, if not worse, than the aviation industry.

This, but I don’t think there is.

The two times I’ve travelled for a gig/show it’s been cancelled and I’ve been hundreds out of pocket. One we still did the holiday but it wasn’t the same, the other was in the UK but travel tickets were hundreds and we literally just turned around and immediately got the train back.

Hate this is hijacked by the environmentalists . If you can afford it , GO . But please tell us who ???
