What are you doing this fine Friday night? What general area, life situation, age etc?
Late 40’s here, live abroad, but desperate to return home. Lay on sofa, very hot, listening to my Dd play upstairs with her friend, batting flies off me, night in front of the tele when really should make the effort to go to the beach down the road and make the most of summer.
In a rubbish marriage, challenging child who I adore and trying to keep hope for the future

Well its Saturday night for me already, also abroad at 55 with a life just getting back on track post divorce.
DD is doing some school work (never stops with the IB), DS is back from Uni and out with friends, DDog is letting rip the most awful farts I suspect from snagging some prawns from the kids at dinner.
Keeping the noise down for DD's studying so I'm flipping between reading The Corrspondent by Virgina Evan (hmm not convinced but pathalogical need to finish every book I start), scrolling mumsnet (because not interested in book) and a desire to be living @GenerousGardener or @AlexC1978 life.

Saturday night here. Laying on sofa deciding if I should brush my teeth now and go to bed. It’s not even 10pm.

Saturday afternoon, I've done some work for an old chap in his 80s who always needs to have a project on the go. This year we've built 4 garden walls...but he's a perfectionist so it takes bloody ages to do anything. My wife helped run the community larder this morning.
I'm on call for the funeral directors I work part-time for so if someone dies I will have to put on a suit and collect the body. But we are contemplating walking to the village (west country dialect for the centre of a town or village) and having a coffee. I would usually have a pint or 2 of rough cider but I won't drink on call.

Loafing about scrolling. Had a few drinks last night. Up early to help DS2 who is staging his own music event today in Surrey. So excited for him

We spent last night at a gig by a tribute act reliving our younger years...I'm 60 he's mid 50's and we had a whale of a time.

Late 50s, Saturday afternoon here. Went for brunch with Dd and her boyfriend earlier. Back home and chilling before going to a football match with Dd, DS and DH in a bit. Will probably grab a post match drink or two.

49 years old, happily married but value "alone time". Disabled now and friends have all disappeared since I became disabled.
Spent last night in bed, cuddled up to the dogs and cat, slowly drinking a couple of glasses of Malbec and watching a horror movie.
Friday nights are "Pizza, Wine and Movie" night.

Late 50s here , dropped uni dd2 off at her summer job with dd1 who has boomeranged back after uni . We enjoyed an iced coffee curtesy of dd2 ‘ s staff discount and I enjoyed catching up with the office politics of her new job .

Dh is replacing the roof on the garage , we’re out tonight with friends to try a new venue . It’s hot , I’m inside with the curtains closed !
