AIBU to be completely shocked at his appearance. I haven’t seen him on anything for a year or two and cannot believe his appearance at 55! I know that he supports equality so this is no different to posting about a famous woman’s appearance as has been done numerous times on here (see Nicole Kidman, Madonna, Ariana Grande, Katie Price). Hope he is ok:)

No he's a ... in all seriousness we outside of London have had thd same picture of him on all things about him for years...so hes aged. It hasn't stopped him being a prickly. But its just age

I also.took a double take when I saw this picture yesterday. He looks gaunt and quite fragile.

I agree, he looks haunted - his eyes look towards the distance as though he is very sad about something unspoken.

The pics here are quite old but it shows how much he has changed.

He looked fine at the new PM briefing today, unless the gaunt BBC photos .

Have you seen the state of some of the Labour front benchers since they took over in 2024? It happens to many politicians in charge, they age seemingly overnight. Look at the difference in Rachel Reeves’ face. I wouldn’t want that level of stress, it isn’t worth it.

Sadly I agree. I tried to keep an open mind as I heard he was a very good MP for Tooting, but I don’t like how he has acted as Mayor.

Quite old? That was from 2015. There's this wibbly-wobbly thing called Time, where a 55 year old will look considerably different to how they did aged 44, especially if they decide to lose weight over the period, too.
