Sadiq Khan has been in the news today:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cglj25k94r9o

AIBU to be completely shocked at his appearance. I haven’t seen him on anything for a year or two and cannot believe his appearance at 55! I know that he supports equality so this is no different to posting about a famous woman’s appearance as has been done numerous times on here (see Nicole Kidman, Madonna, Ariana Grande, Katie Price). Hope he is ok:)

Yes I wondered what happened to that. I guess getting colleagues in over took that after all.

Getting rid of the Lords would require a law that had to go through the Lords…so why wouldn’t you ensure the traditional balanced political views within the Lords? The ones who might vote to abolish themselves?

Eumaybe · 16/07/2026 21:27

Thought the same. Hope he’s ok.

Why do you hope he is ok? He doesn’t care about you??

ringliketinnitus · 17/07/2026 19:22

He shaved his head on Haaj.

I didn’t propose it Labour did.

And then they put in a high number, we now have the largest second chamber in the world.

Watching this was the moment I started hating the man

Emeraldforest · 17/07/2026 19:25

I did nt think he looked all that well, but the explanations seem reasonable .

NeedAnyHelpWithThatPaperBag · 17/07/2026 19:26

He doesn't look well there 😕

PrettyLittleRose · 17/07/2026 19:26

Actual wow! I agree. He looks 25 years older than he did the last time I saw him, maybe less than a year ago! Shock

Him having a 'shaved head' has nothing to do with it. He looks terribly unwell.

.

The Lords can't reject legislation, they can only delay it, since the Parliament Act of 1911, introduced by the last Liberal government.

SummerPeonies2026 · 17/07/2026 19:43

It’s not the shaved head, he looks gravely ill. His face especially. He has MH issues, maybe it’s more than that though. He looks haunted by something. Maybe the ULEZ decision

pinkypoo8 · 17/07/2026 19:43

Who cares? He's ugly on the inside and it is now showing through externally ... despicable human being denying rape gangs' existence and how he talks at the London assembly to anyone who dares cross him

Why? He has been a terribly mayor!

He does not look 'fine.' And @SummerPeonies2026 is not a 'nasty one!'

He's been knighted and will become a hereditary peer.

No, a life peer. No one becomes a hereditary peer any more.

SummerPeonies2026 · 17/07/2026 20:15

I am definitely not being unkind, but he has made some truly damaging decisions for London. He has ignored the very worst of crimes. I am not his number one fan but I hope he isn’t seriously ill.

What MH issues are these?

Livelovebehappy · 17/07/2026 20:20

Horrible man, inside and out.

Enrichetta · 17/07/2026 20:27

It’s not just the lack of hair - it’s the eyes. He looks gravely ill. I hope I’m wrong because he is the best mayor we have had for a long time.

NB: How is Ken Livingston doing? I know he has dementia but hope is well otherwise.

LagerLady · 17/07/2026 13:18

Couldn't he just resign as London mayor, that would be a true gesture of humility?

SK does not have an ounce of humility in his soul. Vile man.
