What are you impatiently waiting for right now?

I am waiting to find out if two of my artworks have got into a local open art exhibition. 800 pieces of art for 80 places! Yes I know 😆

I was pleased with my entries and dying to know if I got in but I know the odds are against me! I enter a lot of contests such as creative writing, art etc. Some get in, some win, some don’t even get shortlisted. I drive myself bananas waiting… 🍌

I’m also counting down the days until my Disney Cruise in August! ⛴️

Hi everyone! Thank you to everyone who replied to my thread about impatience! It helped me pass the time while I waited to see if my artwork had been accepted…update - I got in!! I’m so happy! 800 entries and only 80 places! I entered two pieces and one was accepted, I’ve just had a celebratory beer in the garden 🍺 Things have been shite lately so I needed some good news 🤩

Well done OP! I’m impatiently waiting for the wedding of a good friend a week on Saturday!

To be able to exercise again and not feel like I'm living in a sanatorium.
I'm 3 weeks into a horrendous bug, my DP is about 10 days in, and DS is now off school with it,and probably going to miss his works experience next week.
I'm climbing the walls.

The world to end - I don't think we'll have long to wait with all the lunatics currently racing each other desperately to the finish line.

Early retirement- only 9.5 years to go.

Labour. I'm 40 weeks tomorrow.

Most of my shoes no longer fit. Rolling over is an olympic sport. Baby still hasn't dropped so am choosing between breathing and eating. PGP means I'm barely walking or driving. I've finished work and am bored stiff.

Baby #3 so am pretty confident there's the best part of 2 weeks to go. Am hoping it comes next weekend as I don't think I'll be a great holiday mum in my current state 🤪

On the other hand I'm also kinda enjoying the peace and it would be SO helpful if DH's paternity leave overlapped with the first few weeks of the holidays.

Solitude. I’ve been with PEOPLE 24/7 for 9 days and I’m peopled out. My current visitor is leaving tomorrow and it will be just me and the cat. Bliss.
