What are you impatiently waiting for right now?

I am waiting to find out if two of my artworks have got into a local open art exhibition. 800 pieces of art for 80 places! Yes I know 😆

I was pleased with my entries and dying to know if I got in but I know the odds are against me! I enter a lot of contests such as creative writing, art etc. Some get in, some win, some don’t even get shortlisted. I drive myself bananas waiting… 🍌

I’m also counting down the days until my Disney Cruise in August! ⛴️

Hahah thank you. It just makes nov/dec less stressful. Although when I’m so early I end up seeing other things and buying more 🫣

My expenses claim to hit my bank account!

My new credit card as my old one randomly stopped working and a card reader as I can't make any payments with Nationwide until it arrives. They both have until around 3.30pm today otherwise I'll be straight on the phone to them as it will be 7 working days. Once I can get past their stupid automated menu which doesn't have any of the options I need.

"Please say in a few words the reason for your call"
"Card reader not working therefore unable to make payments"
"Thanks. You can order a new card reader online".
No shit Sherlock! Why Nationwide insist on using these stupid things for security when all other banks I've used manage without them is anyone's guess

Second those who are impatient for an end to this bloody miserable heat! I’ve not felt well since the end of May and actually severely depressed now. Also concerned how it’s messing up nature.

A date for my son's ingrown toenail operation. He's had the problem since October last year, went on the waiting list in April and he should have the operation by next April.

For ds2 to start university. I'm dreading it and worrying he won't cope. He has autism.

Right now I can’t wait until 8pm tonight, as that’s when I finish work for almost two weeks!

I can’t wait for this heatwave (I’m in NI and the weather has been wet, mild and depressing so far this summer), which is hitting right on time for my at home holiday.

I also can’t wait to be feeling well again, after an awful year health-wise. Hoping I can turn a corner soon.

To start my new job on the 28th. I’ve spent six years studying and training for it. I’m excited but totally bricking it too.

Enquiries to be raised, and answered, and to actually complete on our new home after 2 years and 3 months / 5 homes of problems, being messed around etc. I just want to move 😭

Impatiently waiting for my flight back to London which is an hour and a half delayed.

I’m the opposite. My depression dissipates once the sun, with maximum heat, comes out. Just love waking to the sun-rays through my windows.

You’re lucky then because right now I’m questioning whether I should contact my GP for something to help me calm down I’m so unhappy. I can’t see an end to it

Halloween. Not because of any spooky reasons but normal life stuff and the kids back at school. Things should calm down a lot by the end of October 🤞🏻 and not only that but the temperatures should be a lot more manageable too.
