What are you impatiently waiting for right now?

I am waiting to find out if two of my artworks have got into a local open art exhibition. 800 pieces of art for 80 places! Yes I know 😆

I was pleased with my entries and dying to know if I got in but I know the odds are against me! I enter a lot of contests such as creative writing, art etc. Some get in, some win, some don’t even get shortlisted. I drive myself bananas waiting… 🍌

I’m also counting down the days until my Disney Cruise in August! ⛴️

Retirement! Only approx 20 years to go!

A new hose. Current one is a leaky piece of crap which sucks with water meter.

My Solicitor to call me to tell me we are exchanging contracts. I am in the middle of a chain of 7 which to be fair has been easy enough but am getting a bit nervous now that we still have not exchanged!

Waiting for baby to arrive - 39 weeks and my previous 2 babies were out by this stage. Been trying everything to encourage baby along but nothing working!

Oh and pay day!

Agree. Dont it wish time away. It goes so quick as it is. Enjoy the present day.

My Brothers wedding in South Korea - my DC and my Mum are also coming so it will be wonderful for us to spend some quality time together in such an amazing place.

The end of the heatwave. I have so much work that I’m finding really difficult to get through at the moment because it’s so hot and I’m so tired.

end of term. Family life is unbelievably busy for the next two weeks, with performances, presentations, trips etc. Over the summer I only have to work one day a week. I am going to make the most of it, and I cannot wait!

To get to 12 weeks, currently 8 weeks pregnant, but having had 3 miscarriages in the past I always find the 1st trimester long 🤞🏻

My holiday towards the end of this month

Interview results in August - no idea what date, so that’s not nice

I’m not a very patient person

finished cancer treatment a month ago and now have a new lump that needs a scan later. I may expire from anxiety before I get to the scan, and whether I will get out in time to get the kids from childcare.

I am waiting impatiently for my DD to send me an email! She’s 21 and has gone to Columbia for a six week internship. I spoke to her Monday and she showed me her mini studio room but was exhausted and I know yesterday was her first official day. I’d love to know how she got on. Her phone is acting up so WhatsApping plus the time difference is tricky.
And yes I’m waiting for this heatwave to be over. Seeing all those beetroot red people manically fanning themselves while sitting in full sun at the tennis yesterday was painful - and the players! Five hours at 30 degrees.
One thing arrived today which I was quite anxious about was my tax free pension release from a small forgotten work pension from over 35 years ago. I only discovered it this year and with taxes looming at the end of the month it’s come in very handy!

Yes I believe it may reach the dizzy heights of 20 degrees today 😅

For Holo Taco's 7th anniversary collection to drop, there's been a few teasers but I want it now!
Autumn, or at least for Saturday when it's a bit cooler, and some sodding rain.

Impatiently waiting for 2pm so I can clock out of work and go home. Friends birthday today and we’re meeting later for a few drinks. 🍸

Currently very impatiently waiting on a special jacket I have bought from eBay that's coming from the States. It's my goal weight jacket! I never thought I'd get this far (currently 74kg down, still a few kg to go), promised myself I'd get it if I got to my ideal weight. It popped up for a fantastic price so I've got it in anticipation of reaching my goal in the next month or two.

Second to that, impatiently awaiting September when my 4yo will start school. He has autism and likely ADHD (still going through the long diagnosis processes) and currently goes to nursery 3 days a week - but I have him every other hour of the day by myself (literally no support) - and it's very difficult sometimes. He's a great kid: but full on, especially with 2 other children with very different needs to manage too. I'm just looking forward to having that daily breathing space so I can be a better parent, be less overwhelmed constantly.

Exh to sign property transfer paperwork. Not holding my breath...
