You can keep the racists then. Many of them have been reported for DA if that makes you feel safer.

I live in an area of high immigration with a migrant hotel in the next road. My DD is 14. She regularly has to endure the most disgusting comments about what these men would like to do to her, as well as offers to pay her for sex. This is punctuated with comments about the way she dresses and shouts for her to ‘cover up’. I’ve reported to police time and time again. They don’t want to know. Just because you haven’t experienced something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, and being anti immigration doesn’t make you racist.

Looks like anyone concerned enough about immigration to demonstrate is a fascist.

It’s going to be hilarious when Reform are in government, because that’s where it’s going.

  1. What Farage is going to do - 0. Nothing, enrich himself
  2. What immigration has to do with evil men? Half of the migrants can be women and children - does every migrant going to be accused of murdering with a knife? Based on what?

EasternStandard · 13/06/2026 21:03

@mrshohoha that last question.

I think its placards only, no hotels as property prices are too high and something about Labour doing barracks elsewhere only.

It was you who mentioned Crowborough. And for some unknown reason thought the barracks had been purpose built when they were actually repurposed because the army no longer requires them.

TheLandlordsAreFrowning · 13/06/2026 21:01

So you are saying you believe these men are a danger to women and girls? And that they should be sent to areas populated by women who don't agree with your views and it us your hope that they might be taught a lesson?

Hmm. There is a phrase for this but I think it would be a deleting offence to mention ot here.

Shes right, those pink and green haired nuts are wanting migrants to come, most of the rest of the country don't so yes send them where they are wanted. Not sure many of the men coming off the boats really care about women's rights so will fit in well in Brighton where they don't know the difference between a man and a woman and think it's OK for a man to enter women's changing rooms. A match made in heaven. Put all the nut cases together a win for the rest of us.

EmeraldRoulette · 13/06/2026 21:05

People are obviously missing the point for shits and giggles

But seriously, if Brighton is so keen to house refugees and asylum seekers, then accommodation should be found there. It makes sense - people should go where they are welcomed - and surely they would prefer to go where they are welcomed and not to places where people will march in the street against having them.

isn't the display of love and welcome that posters at the start were so excited about? @00K you are proud of Brighton so it makes sense yes?

LakieLady · 13/06/2026 21:06

Noodledog · 13/06/2026 20:53

Are you seriously supporting putting asylum seekers in barracks- like the barracks they put people in in concentration camps? Are you some kind of fascist?

They're already being accommodated in a former army training camp on the outskirts of a town in the Ashdown Forest.

Why are you jumping to the conclusion that these barracks are akin to concentration camps ? Have you never heard of army barracks ? If they’re good enough for our soldiers why aren’t they good enough for immigrants ?

What now?

Those cheering pro immigration protests in Brighton of which this thread was started to celebrate whilst taking the piss out of the anti immigration marchers. Name calling them knuckle draggers etc. We have no idea of the personal reasons why they are marching. We know of one woman whose daughter was murdered by a immigrant housed in a hotel she was employed in. You support the pro immigration protest yet you don't want them on your doorstep. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

Whatado · 13/06/2026 21:08

I rolled my eyes so far into the back of my head over this.

Until countries across Europe start having very serious and sensible conversations about the negative impact that is being experienced as a result of mass immigration without shouting RACIST to shut people down, the far right will countinue to grow.

Which will be an overall negative, but disenfranchised people become desperate.

When you have social deprivation, living crisis, health service crisis, housing crisis being experienced across Europe, it is pretty indefensible to allow the current free for all to continue.

The whole assulym system across Europe is broken and actually its ok to say enough is enough. If a country doesn't have the ability to sufficiently support its current population it is highly irresponsible to not do everything in its power to stop illegal entry and remain of people who have no right to be there.

Scrunchieorbobble · 13/06/2026 19:30

It’s not a minority ffs, look around you
This attitude is dangerous and downright stupid for the future of children and women in particular

It is the minority.

I have no idea how, almost overnight, a large proportion of the population started assuming that every refugee is a criminal/rapist/sexual abuser. They are not. From what limited data is available, they are actually less likely to commit crimes than white British men.

Firetreev · 13/06/2026 21:10

mrshoho · 13/06/2026 21:00

Wheres the racist posts please?

What's the Global South? Does that include Brighton?

Post after post stating things like awful men, fighting age men, I don't want them here. It might be subtle to those who are so blind they cannot see, but tarring every asylum seeker with the same brush is racist. I don't say that every white man is a rapist because of Jimmy Saville nor do I say every Jew is paedophile because of Epstein. Poster after poster seems to think it's acceptable to tar every asylum seeker or black or brown man they don't like the look of with the same brush.

Racism isn't just the obvious such as calling people the n word or the p word. It can be holding a collective group liable for the crimes of individuals.

And if you don't know what the global south means fucking Google it. It's a well used term and you clearly aren't well informed if you haven't come across it yet.

Dappy777 · 13/06/2026 21:10

Fascists?! I'll tell you who the fascists are – the sneering, bullying, globalist left! They have IMPOSED mass immigration and multiculturalism on us. No one was asked, and no one voted for it. In 1997, a speechwriter for Blair said they would use mass immigration to "rub the right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date." (By 'the right', of course, he means anyone who disagrees with us.) That is the language of a fascist. When you IMPOSE something on people, and rub their noses in it, you are a fascist.

I was born in 1976 and have watched my national identity systematically destroyed. I no longer live in a country with a shared culture or history. Even flying my national flag is controversial. And I'm expected to celebrate it!!!

I'm really confused about the barracks and concentration camp comparison. What is that about?

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 13/06/2026 21:11

Noodledog · 13/06/2026 21:11

@DuncinToffee so constructing a new building to house asylum seekers = concentration camp and dreadfully fascist, but using old buildings to house asylum seekers in a concentrated area away from non asylum seekers /= concentration camp and absolutely fine.

Wow, being a Keir Starmer supporter must be very difficult and the brain defying anti-logic required is a real feat.

Yes. Why are people holding up signs and asking other areas to take hotels and barracks.

Surely the answer is simple, the areas who vocally want to welcome people can. Why not?
