I don’t believe we have a problem with immigration. Immigration via irregular routes makes up a tiny proportion of people coming to the UK. It’s just something that far-right media such as GB News and the Daily Mail etc. gaslights us into believing is some huge problem.

And you do realise that being an anti immigration protester doesn't prevent you from being a racist either? In fact, you must surely have noticed that the anti immigration protests are catnip to racists? So I don't struggle to believe that Norman Cook encountered some in a pub.

Many of the hotels that have been used were ones that were struggling anyway. A friend lives in Essex, not far from the Bell hotel that was used for asylum seekers, and she said it was an absolute shithole that no-one in their right mind would have stayed in voluntarily.

Bollocks there’s a town near me with high property prices and a migrant hotel. I’m in their town Facebook group and watching the general population shift to being more “right wing facsisty” since it became one has been interesting.
