For once a judge has imposed an adequate punishment for a crime, in this case attacking a policewoman (from behind) with a sledgehammer.
I imagine he and his friends didn't expect that.

I hope people have registered these comments in response to the sentences:

Green Party Leader Zack Polanski said it was "gut-wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel".
He added that the sentence was a "truly dangerous attack on the right to protest".
Labour MP John McDonnell said the scale of the sentences was "truly shocking".

I'll tell you what's gut-wrenching, you appalling fraud! Your utter failure to condemn violence against a woman who was attacked with a sledgehammer for just doing her job and who will live with the consequences for the rest of her life. How anyone can contemplate voting for the Greens under that idiot is beyond my comprehension. Same goes for the extreme Left faction to which McDonnell belongs (and his chum Corbyn).

I cannot stand those two hard lefties McDonnell and Corbyn. I don't think you can get more anti British than those two negative, treacherous wankers. Oh hang on, I will tag on Corbyn's early cheerleader
Owen tosspot Jones.

Every single one of them - Polanski, Jones, Corbyn, McDonnell - would put dangerous men inside with the women who have just been convicted. They'd have them imprisoned alongside men convicted of sex offences, all in the name of their ideology.

That's what these men really think of those women.

Absolutely agree with you, which is why it's frightening that so many women were behind Corbyn's PM campaign! Ooh Jeremy FFS.

It hasn't cheered me up. Only a win tonight for Scotland will do that. According to reports on X, one of the jurors at the first trial joined the protestors outside the court. I thought jurors were not allowed to discuss how they reached or not a verdict?

The are not a serious party for anyone who cares about the UK rather than Gaza.

Wonder why they keep using the picture of Corner with the cat, not the other one.

Agreed - someone should do a welfare check on the cat.

I don’t understand how anyone can vote Green. Polanski is a parody of himself now.

That's true. He looks like he wants to eat the cat, except he's probably vegan.
