AIBU to question the media response to the Belfast attack?

Why are the media being silent on the Belfast attack?

Is the open borders narrative that important to them that they feel the need to ignore one of the most horrific attacks ever seen on a UK street?

I despair for the future of the UK. It’s grim.

Tourists aren’t immigrants.

So they couldn't ever commit murder?

smallglassbottle · Yesterday 14:21

cardibach · Yesterday 14:16

You think one violent murderer says anything about wider culture? Were the Krays ‘compatible with our culture’? Sutcliffe? All cultures have violent, disturbed people.

They've been in a civil war for 35 years.

AIBU to question the number of leftists who constantly defend these types of attacks?

Find me one example of attacks being ‘defended’ please. Everyone is saying it’s horrific.

No. HTH. But if there is a lot of repetitive Reform spreading hatred and division shite about, expect people to pick you up on it.

Edited

Call me a silly old sausage, but in my world a beheading is a pretty big step in the direction of spreading hatred.

Restore are the answer. Once we get this imported violence and rape under control and send a firm message to anyone planning to move here and not integrate, everything flows from there.

Why the hell should we or our children live in fear like this?

His race had nothing to do with the policeman's actions.
The technique is an approved restraining technique. The fact is people like GF and their supporters are prone to violence and disorder which the left wing MSM make money from so the facts were obscured to push an agenda.
Tony Timpa was killed in the same circumstances and there was no protest, criminal damage or extortion by greviance peddlers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Tony_Timpa

Yet an investigation into the police force found Minneapolis engaged in a pattern of racism towards black people and native American people.

This report also led to changes being made that a racist President has now overturned

Just because a non black person also is the victim of police brutality does not mean that the police do not have a problem with racism

Deflected and minimised. It's plain to see. Why do that if not to defend?

No one defends attacks.

Please link to a 'leftist' or anyone else defending brutal violent murderous attacks.

So sick of this racist shit.

Well the bbc have it as a news story. Seems to be a stabbing of just one person with no deaths as yet? Horrific as that is, sadly, I don’t think it counts as ‘one of the most horrific attacks ever seen on a uk street.
Press and police are possibly also keeping many details unsaid right now until it becomes clearer what has happened and why. Rumours are never helpful.

An attempted beheading apparently, by a man originally thought to be Somali but now confirmed as Sudanese.

So are we all interested in Belfast now??
Where has everyone been for the last 60 years?

It wasn’t one.
Just last week in Dublin, Alex coughlan a gay man was set up to meet a date. Two Iranian boys catfished him, beat him to a pulp, he died 4 days later in hospital.
The previous two men beheaded also gay are from county Sligo, the 3rd victim in Sligo was left badly scarred when the attacker attempted to kill him too.

No one is deflecting or minimising this event. Some people are, however, using it for an anti immigration agenda - why do that?

Yet always with the caveats to those "it's horrific" posts.

Again, find one example of this being minimised. Nobody is doing that.

Indeed - there will be global comments and interest in it - Musk and Vance will shortly give their view I am sure. Tommeh may choose to visit - or not as he is in Russia with Musk’s pedo father.

No they are not. You can't keep shutting down people's concerns, when they see a pattern of perpetrators' profiles committing the same violent and initiated attacks.

LuckyHazelFox · Yesterday 14:32

Yep. No contribution of depth.

smallglassbottle · Yesterday 14:33

cardibach · Yesterday 14:22

Is civil war cultural?

It's violent and reflects a pattern of behaviour. Would you go and live in a country that had been involved in a 35 year war? Anywhere that has been involved in hostilities for that length of time is going to be reflected in the mindset of the population. Trauma changes the brain and research has demonstrated that trauma is passed down through genetics.

So when there's a "pattern" of crimes committed by white people do we start blaming all white people?

Do the victims of any of these crimes mean anything to you? The only people I see trying to score political points are those on the left attacking right wing fightback.

MsJinks · Yesterday 14:27

It’s an immigration problem. I feel so sorry for my neighbours who have been here over 20’s living a decent life. For some reason we’ve inherited a lot of men since the start of the Ukraine war from all over. Men wanking in the street, following girls, living in tents, carrying knives etc.

Killer murdered dad-of-three 'to get dream job' as government assassin | STV News https://share.google/7zb6RGQloT0478w20

This fella lured a gay man to a school pretending to want a date and killed him. Yes there was this spate of Muslim men doing so, thank God they were caught because of the brave third victim who survived. It's horrifying. It's also something that happens on dating sites. Women are frequently berated for meeting men they don't know off dating sites because we know it happens.

That it happens due to a religious agenda is also terrible, gay men have been victims of these sort of murders and violent incidents by homophobes for a very long time. It's absolutely aborrhent but is it a crime that only happens due to immigration?

LuckyHazelFox · Yesterday 14:36

HPFA · Yesterday 14:34

Per capita. Once again, such a fundamental formula gets buried in the virtue signalling.
