To think well done to Neil Sands and Donna Sands for taking their case to get Tattle Life shut down to the court of appeal.

I really admire Neil Sands and Donna Sands, they have all the money in the world and continue to fight on to make the internet a safer place. The Lady Chief Justice has seen that they have strong grounds to appeal.

Why have they got ‘all the money in the world’, by the way? ‘Earned’ from their dodgy businesses?

It says it in black and white
conclude that these were honest mistakes, not intended to mislead or create any tactical advantage.
On Mr Lynch's averment this was an honest mistake, not a tactical decision

Isn’t this the original judgment? Where is the Court of Appeal decision?

From being a very successful silicone valley tech entrepreneur and running a popular fashion brand. A judge has ruled that comments on the internet were abusive and defamatory.

Can you share that judgment?

I can’t say I’m a fan of tattle, although it’s one of many similar forums.

Regardless this document, have you actually read it? I can’t say I’d be linking it if it referred to my court case, it’s not flattering. Scroll to the end and work up to make it quick to see what the actual alleged issues were.

Speaking of which, it seems as though careless discussion of this case might not have served them well the first time around. I think it would be particularly ill-advised for anyone related to have started this particular thread?

MissFancyDay · 01/06/2026 20:59

I thought that the Sands and their lawyer deliberately misled the judge by pretending they didn't know the owner of Tattle?

Haven't they heard of sunk costs? They are just throwing more good money away.

Well then, would you not be aware that this type of online discussion is almost always ill-advised? 🤔

I believe someone’s posted of the site of the readers a screenshot showing they knew full
well who the owner was during the claim to court they did not.

As did a few of their influscammers.

Quitelikeit · 01/06/2026 21:04

I went on there to read the Letby threads during the court case

There was definitely some people on there who seemed to enjoy being nasty and cruel for no apparent reason or benefit

Somehow they also claimed to have insider knowledge on Katie and Kieron - the comments were also typically vile

It was no surprise to me that someone took the owners to task it was only a matter of time

I doubt the website will be shut down as that will set a dangerous precedent and open the floodgates

It certainly reads like that to me

Ha! Got to be! Either that or Donna or Neil themselves.

My guess is Jess, Jaimi or Jaimi’s mum

TheFairyCaravan · 01/06/2026 21:18

I really like Tattle. The posters on the threads I’m on are really kind and friendly to each other, just not to the grifting child exploiters, and make me laugh. I find it really funny that so many grifters are adamant they don’t read Tattle yet address what’s being said on there on a regular basis. If they weren’t such awful people they wouldn’t be being talked about.

You’re not wrong, but I don’t think coming from a position of superiority works when posting on here. The Letby threads on here aren’t exactly edifying.

Having lurked on some tattle threads, it doesn’t seem that bad tbh. Certainly no worse than some of the threads on here and definitely nowhere near as the behaviour of some of the people they discuss.

I will admit to being agog at the tenacity of some of the posters who manage to dig up information, read through pages of court documents etc. I don’t have the patience time for that. Fair play. And seeing the likes of dr Jessica Taylor getting called out for being an absolute clown will never not be a positive.

I think the tenacity can border on stalking. I used to be active on the Jack Monroe threads, and some of the posters went beyond what is normal. I remember logging in after a long gap to see what was going on and they were talking about having plans of her house and looking up which way her ensuite door opened!

OneBrickFinch · Yesterday 10:33

Shouldn't there be an investigation as to how their lawyers mislead the court to gain £1.5 million in fees and £300k for their clients?

The persons unknown was a lie that they kept up for years. The service was defective. There must be more important things for the court to spend their time on.

Sure, rich people engaging in lawfare to shut down criticism of themselves is great stuff. Freedom of speech shouldn't be for the plebs, right?

MN rightly deserves the CSA image debacle highlighted. If the owners are up to no good then people here would want to know as our posts and premium subscriptions keep the business going and the site relevant.

MN is discussed on other forums if you mean individual posters rather than the owners. It’s one of the few places where you can discuss women’s rights without being considered transphobic and posts are often reposted and used as rage bait.

There are plenty of (woman hating) redditors who would love to get MN shut down.

I've never heard of them - when I google them most of it is about them being the couple that sued Tattle, rather than who they actually are/what they do. It mentions her having a clothing brand (never heard of it) and him being an entrepreneur, but nothing much about them. Is it just that they post everything about their lives on Insta and come across as twats, so people hate them for that?

I'm I County Armagh and Donna and her sister Anita would have be big around here about 8 or 9 years ago, had a tv show on RTE and had their own shop in Dungannon.

In 2019 Anita was diagnosed with cancer and raffled off a Chanel handbag to raise £. Apparently there has been a falling out with Anita no longer speaking to the family.

Yikes. That’s deranged, fair play. And I’ve tried to consider what context that would be “ok”… Nope, can’t think of any.

The Alice Evans threads were more what I was thinking of. The receipts they have on that grifting psychopath are vast.

Not that I'm trying to defence that sort of behaviour. But it does sort of also underscore the point that influencers overshare far too much of their lives - and most importantly, their children's lives - online. To the point that it's easy to find the floor plans to their house on Right Move.

A similar thing happened on one of the parenting influencers threads. A family of four girls and two of them were twins. They'd shared so much info about the girls' lives and their expensive house reno that it was ridiculously easy to ascertain where they lived and what school the girls went to. One of the girls was also featured in the school's prospectus, so even more recognisable. It was just so stupid and dangerous.

Tattlers get called 'stalkers' for knowing where influencers live and their kids go to school, but it's like YOU told us that in the first place through your reno inspo product placements and endless identifiable family pics in the well-known seaside town!

PencilNeck · Yesterday 13:00

I think, on balance, it's good that it exists because it really has exposed so many grifters, and if it helps even a few people not get sucked in by them, then great.

Yes, there are some people who go too far, but there are people who go too far on here too, and the people on here are often way more horrible to each other than the posters on Tattle are!

Anyway, if you shut Tattle down, people aren't going to stop talking about these grifters; they're just going to do it on other sites like Reddit (and they already do).

Kiwi Farms is much worse!

Yes this is it.

They post their whole lives online. Their cars, their houses, their holidays, day trips, freebies, events and clubs they go to.

Then act all shocked when people know where they are and what they are going.

It would be completely different is say there was an Adam sandler thread posting that info as he doesn’t share all that. Real celebs don’t tend to be posting their stuff because they want their privacy.

Influscammers need people watching them all the time to get the grift on celebs don’t need to.

MyMonthlyNameChange · Yesterday 13:58

Yes. And the point about Jack Monroe's house was that her grift was based on the idea that she was a skint single mum on benefits, living with her kid in a tiny flat, etc, etc... And people would give money to her Patreon thinking she was hard up and they were helping to support a working single mum.

When really she was living the life of luxury in a massive town house and was in a relationship with an exec at Channel 4!

Pure and utter scam. Helped proven by the fact that she had an ensuite in her huge London pad.
