Driving like idiots
neighbours blasting loud music in their garden I can hear it in my house with doors and windows closed
smell weed everywhere
a lot of drunk anti social behaviour

yes I get some of this happens in normal weather but why does the hot weather cause it to surge or skyrocket?

I’ve had a lovely afternoon and bbq in my back garden listening to someone banging on the drums. Honestly every weekend it’s the same all day long, it’s not so bad if the weather isn’t so good he keeps the window closed, but he has it wide open today

ToadRage · Yesterday 21:28

The only antisocial behaviour I see in hot weather is fat, ugly, hairy old men with their shirts off in public

Elsvieta · Yesterday 21:29

Yep. Almost all riots happen when it's hot, the world over. Well known by those in policing.

Somethingbland · Yesterday 21:33

SqueakyFromme · Yesterday 21:22

@Somethingbland it should have been prosecuted, I love gulls they’re magnificent birds, they’re only trying to survive. That’s so sad.

They are absolutely beautiful.

I feel angry about people's attitude to them because if mankind hadnt wreaked such devastation they wouldn't be having to resort to scavenge for food on shore.

Came here to say the same thing although I think it's across all age groups of men who think it's ok to parade around near naked when the weather gets hot. I especially hate it when they get their fat hairy bellies near the food counters in supermarkets. Who wants to see their pits, zits and tits. Not moi. Makes you want to boak.

Booksandwine80 · Yesterday 21:39

Yep. Pair of twats walking their dogs at 6 am this morning decided to stop and have a chat at full volume right under our bedroom window. I know what they were bath having for lunch today 😂
Fuck off, it’s 6 am on a bloody Saturday

SqueakyFromme · Yesterday 21:43

@NancyBellaDonna agreed, so gross, body hair falling out and flakes of skin landing on the fruit and veg, just so unhygienic and unsightly 🤢 In the USA I believe people have to be clothed in retail establishments.

Agreed,I wouldn't inflict that on the wider populace and besides I've got an array of nice polos and t-shirts to wear.

The increase in flies/bees/wasps . I'm not saying they shouldn't go about their business bit don;t fly into my house and zoom about noisily and whinge at the window , You got in . Go out the same way .

Not Enough Clothes .
99% men . And mostly men that you don;t want to see half dressed , fine on a beach, a swimming pool, your own garden. Crack on.
In Tesco Fruit&Veg aisle , not appropriate

Yes I'm afraid it died.

I know gulls can be a nuisance but some people's behaviour towards them is absolutely atrocious. I won't repeat some of ths awful stories i've heard because they are really distressing.

I'm sorry to have upset you. I'm still quite upset about the incident as well.

☹️ disgusting feral woman. Why is it always wildlife & animals that suffer. In the last week, I’ve told 2 teens off for throwing stones at the ducks and a grown man, I’ve had to tell him twice to keep his working cocker on it’s lead so it doesn’t kill another bunny from the bunny family in the woods opposite me. Why aren’t they being taught from childhood.

ACR7 · Yesterday 22:04

I work in policing and it was commonly known if you were heading into an afternoon or night shift on a hot day it was going to be a hellish shift. Just carnage. Every time

Clafoutie · Yesterday 22:11

When hot weather is combined with a weekend ( or worse, a bank holiday weekend), people seem to start all-day drinking…

Sasha07 · Yesterday 22:12

I've had to close windows and bedroom doors as the neighbours a few doors down are having a drink in the hot tub, I could hear them even with windows shut.

They're loud in general daily but they have people over tonight so the husband is in full on, fake, loud, laugh mode. So the young son is joining in too and you can hear every word as they all shout at eachother over the noise of the hot tub. Usually their loud shite music is going too but obnoxious, performing dad is the star of the show tonight.

All the neighbours despise them. Why buy in the middle of a terrace if that's your lifestyle... It was so nice here before they came, shame I only got a year of loving where I live. 😑

MrFluffyDogIsMyBestFriend · Yesterday 22:14

This is the reason I bought a detached bungalow amongst lots of other bungalows in a village. It isn't perfect as it's right next to a railway line but trains are nowhere near as irritating as humans.

ToffeePennie · Yesterday 22:17

I hate hot nights. Dh insists on sleeping with the window open so all I can hear is the massive family about 4 doors down. Every time it’s even remotely warm, they put up a huge gazebo, get their entire family round, play loud (crap) music and drink and drink. They get louder and swearier as the night goes on, till 3-4am and they have kids running around, you can hear their little voices. It’s crap.

WaitingForSomeone · Yesterday 22:52

In this thread - people hating on neighbours actually enjoying their gardens and using them for their intended purpose. 😂
I will be the nightmare neighbour playing music and having a cold drink next to my bbq this week, with my family around and ds playing with his cousins.. And loving it. 😂😂
Move to the country, God people are so antisocial nowadays.

dontletmedownbruce · Yesterday 22:59

i can hear a group of women doing that style of cackling too-loud (not genuine) laughter. It’s so obnoxious and anti-social. They are four houses away.

‘hating on’ 😂😂

Summerunlover · Yesterday 23:01

My neighbour two doors down, mates round every weekend. Blasting music till the early hours. I hate the summer people become rude. I have requested air con units for Christmas every year for a few years. So now I have one in every room. So we all sleep better and I can’t hear the neighbours when they are running.

SqueakyFromme · Today 04:46

@dontletmedownbruce yes people are antisocial, that being the point of the discussion 🤔

Flatandhappy · Today 05:24

I think it’s the novelty factor. I live somewhere where nice weather is the norm for a lot of the year so people are not rushing outside to make the most of it. Combine that with more space generally (a semi detached is not going to give you much privacy in your garden) and the fact that being able to spend the day at the beach is a pretty common thing to do means there is less of the behaviours you describe.

AlexaStopAlexaNo · Today 05:49

The Brits are so unused to decent weather they just don’t know how to cope.

cleo333 · Today 05:54

I’m trying not to moan but yesterday was spend with a house 3 doors down having what sounded like a party where a child shouted everything for hours ! We live in a quiet area but as a family the rebel in loud parties ( they did during covid too ) . Some people are just selfish
