It wasn't planned, he didn't mean it. Seriously, what did he think would happen if he hit a police woman with a sledgehammer!

Remember the man that hit a policewoman with a sledgehammer breaking her spine?

"Corner was also found guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm after striking Sgt Kate Evans twice with a sledgehammer, fracturing her spine. He was cleared of the more serious offence of causing grievous bodily harm with intent."

"Corner had told the court he "would never want to seriously hurt anyone" and he denied using violence against people during the raid was planned."

It wasn't planned, he didn't mean it.

Naturally to these self righteous, paragons of morality, security guards and police officers don't matter. Nothing can get in the way of virtue signalling for 'gaza'. They are so deluded that they actually think they are helping their 'cause'. Plonkers need to get a job and contribute to the society that they live in, or is that too much like hard work and they'd rather just smash things up and hurt people.

If you read the closing statements all posted upthread from Jewish voices you will see they had multiple testimonials from their employers

I think you're amazing though...you'd let your friends be attacked with hammers and sledgehammers and do nothing to intervene. That's amazing pacifism...and to be commended.
Peace out 🤍

In his closing speech at Woolwich Crown Court, Tom Wainwright, defending, also described Corner as "an academic, an Oxford graduate, a mathematician, a linguist and a philosopher

Direct from the story linked above

He can still be a bloody hooligan though, and intelligence and commonsense often don't go together.

The absolute moral outrage. Do you know how easily that group could have avoided being ‘attacked with (their own) sledgehammers’ and ‘been forced’ to bludgeon a police officer’?

Can you think of the single, simple step they could have taken?

Trying to portray them as victims. Ffs, just listen to yourself.

I agree with you. No common sense and led by ideology around a conflict thousands of miles away. He actually thinks smashing things up with sledgehammers (and then when he became 'scared for others' and upset and disorientated by the akarm ringing walloping a policewoman twice with a sledgehammer actually helps people thousands of miles away. A right plonker to boot.

I do...protest is a legitimate act...it's why I was able to vote yesterday and experience the weekend tomorrow

There are moral duties to stop mass murder too

How is that nonsense any context to the post you quoted?

But it seems only one apparent mass murder is ever protested.

I remember desperate Tamils lying in the road in London due to the Sri Lankan genocide back in 2009. Dont remember any protest even close to the size of the ones whenever israel is involved.

Not to mention the current ongoing genocide in Sudan. How are you stopping that mass murder given its your moral duty?

I'm sure smashing shit up is great fun. If you do it for 'the cause' you'll even have useful idiots lining up to claim that bludgeoning a police officer with a sledgehammer isn't actually that bad really.

The normal people just doing their jobs are the real bad guys here.

IsabellaVireauxLaurent · 09/05/2026 01:27

why do protestors think they would win ?

Win what?
Maybe what they see as a win isn’t what you see as a win?

If, for example, they saw similarities with apartheid South Africa then maybe they are Prepared for a decades long struggle, where small grassroots actions eventually lead to universal condemnation.

They aren't interested as Jewish people are not involved in those conflicts. They won't admit it, but I believe that antisemitism fuels all of this. Muslims killing other Muslims, no interest.

The interesting thing is wondering why they have picked the world's only Jewish state as the one they are working towards 'universal condemnation' of.

It's also interesting to see how many of them were previously working towards saving the planet, but have completely pivoted towards condemning the world's only Jewish state. Richard Barnard who was the co-founder of Palestine Action previously was an activist for Extinction Rebellion, as were many others who have been arrested for Palestine Action activities. Greta Thunberg. The Green Party is now the party of Palestine.

And yet the planet has not been saved. What's more attractive or urgent about working towards universal condemnation of the world's only Jewish State than saving the actual planet?

The autism defence.

Oh FFS! I wish people would fuck off with blaming cunty behaviour on autism. That a judge is doing it, is just beyond the pale. If his autism means he can't cope with a chaotic situation, why the fuck was he there in the first place?

SapphireSeptember · 09/05/2026 12:37

@likelysuspect Just to clarify I'm not swearing at you, I'm swearing at the situation. 😅

loislovesstewie · 09/05/2026 12:42

My adult child who has ADHD and ASD thinks it's a stupid defence too. He says the idiot ought to know what he was doing.

Yes and it was his barrister so its overt in the defence. Disgusting.

He knew what he was doing, but the snivelling idiot needs to hide behind something, can't just label him a violent thug, which is what his behaviour indicates.

OP posts:
plsdontlookatme · 10/05/2026 22:14

Some people are just violent, and will use any cause as a righteous pretext for their violence. Any man who smashes a woman with a sledgehammer is just a man who wants to smash a woman with a sledgehammer. I'd wager he wanted to hit a woman with a sledgehammer much more than he cares about freeing Palestine.

plsdontlookatme · 10/05/2026 22:16

This shift towards using autism as an attempt to mitigate violence is really dangerous too. It's funny how autistic women don't run around stabbing and sledgehammering people, isn't it? I wonder if the issue is actually male violence...

plsdontlookatme · 10/05/2026 22:19

I'm sure the besieged people of Palestine will be thrilled to learn that a spoiled brat in the UK has valiantly attacked a woman with a sledgehammer in their name.
