What phrases do you hate? It gives me the rage when my mum says put up and shut up. I know that some things are not within my control and that i have to do things i don't like.

‘Hits differently’. Or ‘it just hits differently’. It’s everywhere now and I hate it. Agree with pp about ‘obsessed with’.

Well, true of those who are alive now. Plenty didn't cope, but they didn't live into their late 70s, so aren't around to comment now.

This may not be as lighthearted I suppose, but saying ‘My child is ASD’ or ‘My husband is ADHD.’ I wince every time I read this!
