Me too! Multiple intense dreams a night, some of them are like a bloody film.

Really disturbing but sadly not unusual for me. I also suffer from insomnia so it’s particularly annoying that when I do sleep it’s broken and distressing dreams.

NimbleHiker · 10/04/2026 20:03

I have been having weird dreams too. When i woke up this morning i was convinced that i had moved to Denmark during the night.

Alittlebitofthebauble · 10/04/2026 20:11

Same here and I don't usually remember them!

ohyesido · 10/04/2026 20:12

Same, I woke up in a panic because I dreamt that my hamster had died in a horrible accident…I went to
tell DH about the poor hamster thinking it was real and we don’t have a hamster

whatsit84 · 10/04/2026 20:14

Yes me too recently! I put it down to some sleeping pills I’ve been taking.

NeedAnyHelpWithThatPaperBag · 10/04/2026 20:25

I love the film type ones! I've assumed with me, it's because irl things are very boring and I watch a lot of TV films and dramas, lol.

Mumtoabeast · 10/04/2026 20:27

My dreams are so vivid, I feel like I've been watching films all night long & can remember them all day, I wake up feeling exhausted!
Although it's been like this for a few years for me now, not a new thing 😕

catipuss · 10/04/2026 20:35

I dream very real things and then am surprised they are not at all real when I wake up, bizarre. Can take me a while to be really sure what is reality.

ExtraOnions · 10/04/2026 20:47

Yep … the other night had a dream that he had launched a nuclear weapon. I was stood looking towards the Horizon, and there was this massive bright light. Woke up terrified, and immediately had to check the news

Calling · 10/04/2026 20:49

Me too! I have been having intense dreams and sleeping deeply but not necessarily refreshed as you would think. I think that watching the news and YouTube has made things more intense.

Isittimeformynapyet · 10/04/2026 20:56

I guess you're going to conclude that there's some sort of Cosmic Happening going on, so I'm just adding that I am not having weird dreams. I do, regularly, but not at the moment.

newrubylane · 10/04/2026 20:57

Yes, actually. Even my husband said he'd had some weird ones earlier this week, and he hardly ever remembers his.

LaverneBakerImtheonetodoitNSOUL · 10/04/2026 21:00

Sertraline 150 mg dreams.
Ancient civilisation milking a bird by tapping it's head.
Big carrot slices that the people put in their mouths evolved over time become beaks ,oh and the milked bird the milk run out of the beak.🤯

Autumngirl5 · 10/04/2026 21:03

Yes I am too! Every night at the moment. My husband has also and it is very unusual for him to dream.

Allonthesametrain · 10/04/2026 21:05

Yes! A bit out there and scary, very vivid, but also comforting as lost loved ones were part of them.

MollieMoo1212 · 10/04/2026 21:06

Yes just this past week or so

TheGirlWhoLived · 10/04/2026 21:07

I love dreams, even the bad ones because it all feels better when you wake up! I use the ThisWorks deep sleep spray to make them happen

LittleMissLateForWorkAgain · 10/04/2026 21:08

Last night I dreamed that a donkey ran into my bedroom and I was worried it would wreck the house so needed to get it out.

Then my windows wouldn't close and there was a hurricane in my room. When I looked outside there was thick snow and I couldn't find my phone.

I put it down to the 2 glasses of wine before bed but I often have weird dreams.

Hollowvoice · 10/04/2026 21:09

The other night I dreamt I was in a relationship with someone and was trying to convince him that his actual girlfriend knew because she'd seen me sitting in his lap.
Firstly, weird
Secondly, I just wouldn't if someone was in a relationship
Thirdly, I genuinely don't fancy him in real life! (It's not someone I know, TV personality type thing)

Allonthesametrain · 10/04/2026 21:10

Allonthesametrain · 10/04/2026 21:05

Yes! A bit out there and scary, very vivid, but also comforting as lost loved ones were part of them.

They involved earth crashing around us, making it so a safe space, then looking up at the sky and seeing it full of sci fi swirling comets, red stars, like the sky as we knew it had changed into a beautiful but frightening chaos! Xx

J3llycat · 10/04/2026 21:11

Yes! Crazy dreams for the past week, can't attribute it to hormones or what I've eaten before bed either. I wondered if it was the moon too

stresshousemove · 10/04/2026 21:14

Me too, of a panther attacking my kids. My daughter dreamt of a wolf attacking us the same night. What’s your theory?

user1471453601 · 10/04/2026 21:19

I have, and have always had, very vivid and weird dreams. Last night's was about spies and espionage. Very exciting.
cannot wait to find out what adventure I'm going on tonight.
