I have quite a specific example.

I have a family member who saves photos from my social media page, saves them and then posts them onto her own page. (Without permission.)

It has been driving me nuts, even though it’s so petty!

What about you?

Bloody everyone right now, but I have had the week from hell to be fair.

Ok, petty stuff...

  • socks that slide down inside your boots
  • socks that don't slide down inside your boots but leave shackle marks around your ankles

I think all of my other annoyances are fair enough and reasonable actually!

MabelRoyds · 26/03/2026 14:10

Men on mobile phones, that SHOUT into them. Drives me up the wall.

NotAnotherScarf · 26/03/2026 14:17

People who wear odd socks.
People who don't wait their turn in a pub.
The change in pronouncing proven, from Pru ven to pro ven it really really gets my goat.

People who go and watch the likes of 'Shrek' or 'Cinderella' in December and declared it 'christmas panto'!!! Its not christmas panto, its panto at christmas. Gives me rage

38woman · 26/03/2026 14:29

People who rush to walk in front of you and then walk very slowly. Its rude and pointless.

Starlight1979 · 26/03/2026 14:31

My leggings which seem to have lost all elasticity (despite costing me £60 😡) and keep falling down so I spend my entire dog walks hoiking them up.

People who are on Facetime / have phone calls / watch TikTok with the full volume on.

When you find something amazing on Vinted (new with labels!), offer gets accepted and then cancelled / seller doesn't send the item 😭

SooPanda · 26/03/2026 14:32

Having workmen in the house. Yes I wanted this new kitchen. Yes they’re very polite, and hardworking. So yes it is petty, but I just haaaate having strangers in my space!

honeylulu · 26/03/2026 14:39

Opening cupboards and things falling on me. They are my cupboards and I am the reason they are stuffed too full but ... so annoying.

Opening a pack of tablets and getting the leaflet end every time.

The pointy arrow thing on the TV screen that you have to click left or right on the remote to make it go away.

Going into the kitchen barefoot in the morning after adult child has been making nighttime snacks and getting toast crumbs stuck to my feet.

Having to wash my hair every morning even if it's not greasy because it looks like a birds nest after a night's sleep.

zigazigahhhh · 26/03/2026 14:41

When a lane is closed and everyone moves over as soon as they see the signs rather than use both lanes until the end!!! Fills me with rage every morning

Limth · 26/03/2026 14:42

The leaflet is at the end where the expiry date/batch code is, so just make sure you open it the other end ☺️.

Anything claiming to be salted caramel flavour that isn’t actually salty.

Qashgal · 26/03/2026 14:52

People who start a controversial thread and never come back to it despite hundreds of following posts.

Getting pills out of blister packs - really hurts my fingers as Ive got arthritis and takes forever to get teeny tablets out of several packs for a weekly organiser.

Mothers day flowers from M&S dying after just over a week. I bet they were expensive too.

Me wanting to treat myself to 'something' but cant find any tat I like on Haul or Temu.

Oh god is this a thing? I've yet to hear that pronunciation and pray I never do.

I hate hearing "on accident" and "I could care less", can't be chewed with being that person who corrects them but die inside whenever I hear it.

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 26/03/2026 14:56

My little toe nail - which has just decided it needs to dig into its neighbouring toe. Only trimmed it two days ago wtf?

TigerRag · 26/03/2026 14:59

Making a typo (the post does make sense if you ignore said typo) and realising when it's too late to edit

confusedbydating · 26/03/2026 15:01

People who walk slowly on the pavement blocking any way to get past.

shellyleppard · 26/03/2026 15:03

When someone rings the doorbell/knocks at the door then starts hammering the door before I get the chance to answer it

Surely not 😱

Yes, I hate this too.

Also, when my husband phones me and I don't answer because I'm driving (which he could work out because I always answer otherwise), rather than allowing time for me to reach destination before calling again, keeps phoning over and over which makes me really stressed and distracted. I have an old car without the Bluetooth hands free thingy which he is also well aware of.

DancingFerret · 26/03/2026 15:10

People who knock the door even though our Ring doorbell is clearly visible.

People who start a sentence with "myself".

Anyone who parks nose in.

Anyone who parks nose in at an angle and takes up two spaces.

momtoboys · 26/03/2026 15:11

Anyone chewing gum
Boys or men in sleeveless tops

shellyleppard · 26/03/2026 15:14

@honeylulu that would drive me absolutely batshit.....my old boss used to do this. I refused to answer the phone while I was driving
