I hate strip clubs

My DP has some friends staying over with us that he’s not seen for ages. The friends want to go to a strip club tonight.
i don’t like/agree with strips clubs and find men who frequent them to be grubby and sleazy.

AIBU to tell them if they want to go to somewhere like that they can find somewhere else to stay?

Bloody cheek staying with you and talking about strip clubs. I would personally have made them leave. I wouldnt care who was offended.

Is it really any different from the porn that they all watch?? Men are visual creatures and whilst I don’t particularly like it I wouldn’t stop my dh or divorce him for going to one!
The question about staying at yours after…. Yeah I’d probably say “get a hotel room”

There isn’t a man I know personally who would think it was ok to stay in someone’s family home and suggest going to a strip club as something to do together.

The cynic in me says you absolutely do know a man, or many men like this. They are just smart enough to keep the conversation away from you.

I’m not saying I’ve never known a man who has been to a strip club, I’ve known many, just not any who have stayed in a family home with someone’s wife and kids and suggested that as an activity to do together. Unless they knew the wife/girlfriend was ok with it it does seem a little disrespectful and not something that’s the norm while staying with friends with partners and kids.

These are men who are paying to look at a woman’s tits. And possibly more. I don’t think respect for women is high on their agenda, whatever they might say publicly.

I would tell them to go somewhere else even if no children were involved but there’s zero percent chance I’d let them come back from a strip club and stay the night with kids in the house.

Although, saying that, I’d be against a group of drunk men stumbling into the house in the early am whilst my kids were asleep anyway to be honest, regardless of where they’d passed the evening.
