I hate strip clubs

My DP has some friends staying over with us that he’s not seen for ages. The friends want to go to a strip club tonight.
i don’t like/agree with strips clubs and find men who frequent them to be grubby and sleazy.

AIBU to tell them if they want to go to somewhere like that they can find somewhere else to stay?

but then why is it ok for a woman to offer the service (as long as she does it willingly) yet if a man uses said service then why hes an misogynist ? same with only fans why is it female empowement to use the service and offer x, but when men pay then again they are misogynist ?

Due go the power structure in our society and the difference between the sexes physically I think they’re quite different.

Dont actually care about the arguments/ justifications. We are entitled to our opinion that they are grim misogynistic and seedy and to judge men that go and op is within her rights to say so. And also to withdraw her hospitality as she doesn’t want to facilitate this.

Personally I find the thought of women watching male strippers pretty gross as well but the extent to which the sex industry caters for and provides entertainment to women in the firm if male strippers pales into insignificance compared to the big business of providing men with the strip clubs and bars and lap dancing clubs etc where women can be ogled and bought.

You do realise that women are encouraged to touch male strippers whether or not they want to be touched whereas there's a massive barrier and then a large amount of floor and security between us and the men that come to watch us.
Male strippers are twice as likely to be sexually assaulted as female strippers!

My husband wouldn't be staying in our house if he went to a strip club let along his mates! I hate them, it makes me feel terribly jealous so it would really hurt me if he decided to go knowing how it would make me feel.

This is what you need to tell your DH. And that they're all grim if they think strip clubs are harmless.
