I think he has finally lost any marbles he had in his tiny little brain!

He keeps it hidden down the back of the sofa.

😃 Take a bow, Fabulous.👏

Why are those could do something so afraid of him that they do nothing?

The one thing that seems to never rate a mention is that one of the very first actions of this fascist kleptocracy was to harvest data under the guise of 'cost cutting'. When you wrap your mind around just how much knowledge and information is now held by this maniac, it goes a way to explaining some of the inaction.
The fact that the republicans are still lining up behind him also conveys the fact that they don't seem to fear any backlash from their constituents. Why is that?
What a shitshow. Who are we going to have to get into bed with to quash this? Because the world needs to be able to cut him loose

Really? In AIBU? That's the best place you can think of for this?

Would ‘Elderly Parents’ be better? Or ‘Teenagers’

Yes, it's terrifying. I'd guess the percentage of people in the US with any awareness or understanding of that is under 20.

In my opinion, listening to today's speech, it sounded to me that he has a very complex disorder. I remember when Biden was losing it. I wonder if there are people behind the scenes now wondering what on earth to do because it might get worse.

I mean, with Biden they just decided to have him run in the next election.

The Pre-school section surely?

Are you American Tara?

I have to say that I find him entertaining too, doesn't mean I would want him to lead my country though.

I can't believe what he comes out with and how he talks to people and I watch him to see what complete drivel he comes out with next and then watch his audience try and keep the looks of disbelief off their faces and zip their mouths shut as they have manners...unlike some!

Americano75 · 21/01/2026 14:46

The fuck did he just say about Somalians?

Now that the Haitians seem to have stopped eating the cats and dogs, I'm sure his supporters have welcomed a new target 🙄

Come on guys see sense. If it wasn’t for the US we’d all be speaking German and a little bit of Japanese now

Bollocks. Where were they in 1939 and 1940?

Fulmine · 21/01/2026 23:15

Still, quite glad he's done a TACO on tariffs.

Australia the same. I can't believe how useless that much vaunted American Constitution and American political system really is. We have a written Constitution but we would never get to this stage because the parties will sort them out if they start going even a little ga-ga. And we the people have actual control (not like the Americans who claim it) because we give direct feedback to our elected reps who are NOT funded by vested interests. The few who do cling tightly to vested interests are widely viewed as highly suspicious and their parties tend to be kept on very short leashes.

I suppose part of it is that in the Westminster system, the PM is the party leader, and there are a variety of mechanisms and pressures that can be used to sort that out, including private and indirect ones. The party leader really does serve only as long as they have the confidence of both their own party and the house as a whole.

The presidency in the US is a whole other kettle of fish, directly elected, very much a top down branch of the government. All the others in that branch serve the president and he isn't really beholden to anyone during his term without it involving significant institutional effort like impeachment.

And the Democrats have kind of blown their wad on trying to get Trump out through differernt legal mechanisms, it hasn't strengthened their position. It ends up looking like they are just trying to make up for the fact that they are incapable of choosing a candidate that the population wants to vote for.

Beesandhoney123 · 21/01/2026 23:22

Yes, I really really hope there is a whats app group for the pms, which hopefully gets a journalist added ' by mistake'

Watching him belittle zalensky about his attire was difficult. His knocking down the historic east wing of the White House on the American people's dime. This is off the scale.

Really makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes where trump doesn't want the attention. Epstein, what looks like the crushing of a civil war in the US, ICE doing many terrible things, rare earth pursuance, getting Tony Blair onto a peace / war committee.

Who was the Danish politician who told him to fuck off? He sounds sensible. I'd like to hear Mr Starmer tell him to fuck off.

Summerlilly · 21/01/2026 23:22

You what drives me nuts about the USA. They insist on the right to have guns so they can uprise against a tyrannical government.

They clearly have that right now and it’s getting worse as the days go on.

Why are they not doing anything about it!!!!

Do they not understand that the reason they are getting poorer is because of him

Entertaining… if only it were a Monty Python sketch, it would be hilarious.

JennyWren5 · 21/01/2026 23:24

I get really irritated by his habit of capitalising random nouns. It really winds me up. Needless to say, the other stuff he says also makes me angry. He’s just a monumental twat.

YourBrickTiger · 21/01/2026 23:24

tara66 · 21/01/2026 17:23

Well, I find him very original and entertaining!!
He did call Greenland - Iceland though - but it's an easy slip and he had had a long flight!

This was later picked up on by someone in his staff saying he called it Iceland because it’s well… full of ice.

MeTooOverHere · 21/01/2026 23:25

askmenow · 21/01/2026 20:33

It was bloody brilliant!! Those woke shite governments deserved to have their noses rubbed into the mire.

He lobs a bomb into the inert morass to initiate action.
About time someone told NATO and Europe the lie of the land.
They alone CANNOT defend Greenland that’s the reality of the impoverished Forces in Europe.

WAKE UP TO THE REALITY!
The wastrels of Europe have been riding on the shirttails of the US for years.

Time to pay your way and stop playing empathetic suicide by allowing unlimited low value migration

This will be a new Dark Age if he isn't reined in soon. None of us will ever trust the USA again. Trump has exposed fatal flaws - in the people, in the institutions, in the very fabric of their so-called 'democracy' which we all know it isn't.
Why are they not doing something to wind him back?
I mean I know the USA is full of shit about most things but really, they are letting a madman tear apart stability and the only sort of world order that has held.

The world should be forming a type of HUG ACROSS THE WORLD and we should all be telling him to fuck off.

JennyWren5 · 21/01/2026 23:29

Trump is a dictator cosplaying as a fat, tanned, smug billionaire - only with no rightfully earned money to his name.

This might get deleted, as it is quite strongly worded, but what the hell. I am comforted by the fact he is mortal, like all of us. And even though I’m not religious, I am convinced that there will be a special place in hell waiting for him when he dies.

CanadianJohn2 · 21/01/2026 23:29

@Tezza1
The border between USA and Canada is not a straight line, at least in the east.

A person in Port Huron, Michigan, would have to look east across the St Clair river to see the city of Sarnia, Ontario.

Similarly, a person in the city of Niagara Falls in New York State would look west to see the city of Niagara Falls in Ontario.

You have to wonder, however, if Us-ans ever watch the weather news, and wonder "what is that big expanse of white space to the north of us".

Nereidd · 21/01/2026 23:29

What I find frustrating is that nobody seems to have the kahunas to stand up to Trump or Putin. At the moment Europe and the UK are run by weak leaders. I have no faith in any of them.

Trump must have been so relieved when the Beckham stuff came out hahaha.
