You can vote for the Starmer/Reeves ever increasing taxes if you like. That is one of the benefits of living in the UK we can vote for who we like. If you want continuing incompetence vote for it!

Goldenbear · 21/01/2026 17:58

Dragonflytamer · 21/01/2026 17:55

Labour have all the power to stop people voting reform. They just need to stop being so shit! Starmer has a majority - the incompetence is entirely self induced.

Make up your mind - are you campaigning for Reform or the Labour party!

If you are on benefits don't bite for Reform, they don't give a flying fuck about you!

Quite

Please link to reform documentation stating that? Or are you just making up more shit to try and scare people into voting for more labour competence? The Reform Policy is that the NHS would be free at the point of use. They will use tax rebates to encourage those who can afford it to use private health care.

Once Farage is elected as Prime Minister on a manifesto and decides to do virtually nothing within it or try but then u turn on every point - I will be just as disappointed in him.

His record as an MEP, MP for Clacton and as a key Brexit figure not enough of a parade of red flags, no?

No. This country needs a fundamental shake up. He will create that.

Oh he'd definitely do that. Just like his buddy over the pond.

I'm off for my supper now, but if any of their supporters want. me to send a few extra brain cells ithrough the post, I will duly oblige. Goodnight.

If labour stop being shit, get on top of benefits etc. I would vote for them. I did vote for them with the promise of change. I didn't really release the change starmer meant was increasing unemployment, putting barriers to growth and flip flopping his policy.

This is going to blow your mind - I didn't vote for Labour but I think it's important to call out hard right shit stirring when I see it, as well as making people aware of the oleaginous 'principles' of the Reform party!

I just don’t understand how anyone can bring themselves to trust Farage. There are plenty of Tory politicians who I don’t agree with but I respect that they are coming at things fundamentally with a view to trying to do the best for the country. I don’t think this about Farage, he’s out for himself. As was Boris Johnson. Unprincipled and will always act in a self serving manner.

Surprise surprise different people have different views. I will never trust a human rights lawyer who would ditch the long establish principal of trial by your peers in order to save a few quid.

I was obviously talking about the Russian stuff 🙄

You can read some of the testimony covering Farage and Leave.EU’s links to Russia, of course since then the issue of Nathan Gill has come to light. Clearly, Farage is a man not to be trusted as at best he does not represent Britain’s best interests, at worst he’s a literal traitor.

Written evidence

He already created one of them with Brexit and that’s going oh so well isn’t it. Hmm

If you're going to vote for parties that haven't money from Russia that only leave Actionman Ed or the Breast Hypnotiser.

Yes as I said there are plenty of people who have very different views to myself as to how to approach things, but I can still see that they are acting with principled intentions. Farage does not appear to me to be one of these people.

And course it fine for you to have that point of view. I have a different view - I wouldn't trust starmer as far as I would throw him. These are just of opinions.

Well , eyeroll, he certainly gives the impression of being in it for the money. And if you can ASCERTAIN that, you should have gone to Specsavers.

Are you feeling okay? What’s the point of this thread? If people make claims, they should be able to back it up with sources. What a weird goady snarky attitude to someone asking for evidence rather than rumours. Not surprised now you put this in AIBU. Drama queen.

How can you back things up with evidence when things are done on the sly by these types. That's precisely how they operate.
And I think you'll find that.you werent exactly polite, so dont turn it round on me.

Read your own thread back. You were sarcastic after I politely asked for sources. So you can’t even provide any links for these ‘rumours’ then? I’m going to assume you’re just making shit up.
