We've drawn Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and as season ticket holders we've been able to get tickets in a stadium that only holds 4,500 tops. We have a plastic pitch only 100x60m and we're not even in the national leagues, which are the top 5 layers. We're at level 7, I think, maybe 8. It's a televised match if anyone wants to watch some truly amazing (not necessarily in a good way🤣) football.

Is it too much to hope that we might become giant killers?

This is why I love the FA Cup. Anything can happen, lower tier teams get to see their guys play some of the bigger teams and it brings so much excitement. Aside from games involving my own team, I always root for the underdog. Good luck OP and enjoy!

One of the most famous FA Cup upsets was when Canvey Island beat Northampton. Ever since then, I've followed with interest and not been disappointed.

Hope you can hold on to the lead! DS has played a couple of tournaments at Macclesfield (always a great day!) and he was really excited to see a pitch he’s played on on the TV.

Or it’s an opportunity for the big clubs to put out players that don’t get much match time normally and a chance to prove themselves (or not)
