Anyway, in case posters don't know, ICE officers have no normal power of arrest over US citizens so she could drive off. Telling her to get out of the car is not a generally authorised thing for an officer who has no powers of search or arrest. (hence the otehr officers telling her to drive away)

This is why the narrative of her being an out of control assailant is being fed because that is the only circumstances under which an ICE officer can even apprehend a US citizen (or suspecting they are illegal immigrants).

In a democracy, you do not get shot in the head three times driving away from an armed officer. Trying to drive away has absolutely nothing to do with this.

There is no reason. None. For an officer to shoot a woman dead just because she is driving away. Please stop blaming this victim. ]

It is a tragedy that this young mother of three children is dead. It is equally tragic that Trump and his coterie of thugs masquerading as politicians have led to a loss of morals in wider Americans.

I find it so incredible to hear both republicans and ordinary citizens dismissing this murder of an innocent citizen as nothing to be alarmed about. What has happened to people?

These ICE pricks seem to think they’re in their mum’s basement playing Call of Duty, not conducting a role on behalf of the government. They are absolutely despicable. They not only murdered an unarmed woman in broad daylight, they also moved vehicles, altering what should have been a crime scene.

The USA has fallen a long long way. I don’t actually consider them an ally of Europe anymore.
