It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

Thank you ! This is exactly what happened to her. I saw no video yet of this lady smashing into another car aside from the ones that she smashed into after they shot her, she was dead and no longer had control of the car.

Actually, one last thing before I do sign off. Training to be an ICE agent used to last an intensive 27 weeks. They have been very short on numbers of qualified people willing to take these jobs, so have recently had a massive recruitment drive, with training shortened to just over a month (reportedly 47 days). That is not enough time to learn this job, which is one of the reasons we're seeing such a lack of professionalism. Unpreparedness leads to panic in fraught situations.

Dragging minorities who have committed no crime off of the street and incarcerating them in unsanitary conditions without trial is very much Nazi behaviour. If you support this then you are as bad as they are.

No UKBF (or whatever it's called now) officer has ever behaved in the way that ICE officers are routinely behaving. Detainees in the UK are treated with far more humanity than you'd ever see in the US. UKBF don't sit outside citizenship ceremonies waiting to pick up permanent residents who are but an oath away from becoming a full citizen. Whatever issues there are with detention centres in the UK, theyre nothing like the concentration camps in the US.

Hard agree. I've actually got image preview off on twatter because I find it really depressing what's shared so easily without so much as a warning. My timeline would be filled with graphic footage of a woman being shot in the face. In the last hour that's become actual, direct footage of her dying/dead as a Dr pleads to examine her.

No one should need to SEE that to be horrified it happened! When the Fuck did this become a thing? Are ppl so dead inside that they have to observe atrocities to have feelings about them?

And it was bloody stupid of her, frankly. All she achieved was getting herself killed, leaving her husband without a wife and her children without a mother. The ICE agent will likely get off scot free because the officials are corrupt and don't give a fuck, the immigrants they were going after will still be deported, and now she's dead, which I'm fairly certain wasn't one of her goals when she went out that morning.

Let me be clear: She was murdered and should not have been killed. The ICE Agent should be convicted of murder and imprisoned. But that doesn't mean she wasn't bloody stupid to mess about with aggressive, trigger happy federal agents who have been given a licence to essentially do what they like with impunity.
