It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

It’s very clear that she was turning away from him, in both videos I saw.

a woman is dead because she protested. That’s what she was doing, driving away from ice agents, as is her right given that they aren’t police and she was seemingly an American citizen.

This was from past "protests" in Chicago where the head of Chicago Police confirmed people were attacking and ramming ICE cars and he made it clear it's wrong and illegal. And he was attacked for "defending" ICE.

No you don't get to attack federal agents doing their job, protest all you want but driving your car into the situation then driving at agents is fucking stupid.

I do apologize everyone for this above poster trying to distract from the fact and giving misleading information.There was NO attack on an officer. I don’t know what the Chicago police chief was talking about when he was talking about an agents car being smashed into . I saw no car being smashed into. This woman clearly was trying to leave . These agents surrounded her very quickly as she was leaving and this was entrapment. You might think all or most Americans believe what ICE is doing is OK and that is not true. It’s clearly lawless and arresting people often without good cause. There are people that are trying peacefully to oppose this. She did not know these officers in that car were officers until they jumped out quickly . The truth will come out in the end .She was murdered. It’s a shameful time to be an American for anyone with a conscience. We have a convicted felon as a President who was never punished for it. His behavior is criminal and I hope some day he is punished for it.

The comment about the Chicago Police was giving other evidence of attacks on ICE not this specific situation. In this situation she drives her car into the situation, they tried to get her out of the car and she drove her car into an agent and got shot.

Again you can protest but putting your car in the middle of immigration operations is not protesting because that puts you, officers and the immigrants at danger and then to top it for she drives her car into an agent, did she expect hugs and kisses?

i presume when requested to stop then you stop and then they explain why the stop was for etc plus what if they had intelligence and that was the suspect they were looking for after all we do have the cia the nsa the dea ice etc the public hardly understand the espionage side of things etc

I have accidentally interrupted an armed police raid, and I can guarantee you, you would not act rationally. You would be in an immediate state of panic and confusion.

Fortunately for me, I was in the UK, so the guns were not pointed at me and I was not shot in the face. After I ignored the shouts to get back inside because I froze, the closest officer to me lowered his weapon, gently pushed me back inside my garden, and shut the gate after me while identifying himself as police. He later came to check I was OK. I was still shaking hours later.

There's some contention around the placement of the ICE officer and whether she drove towards him and it was intentional. But nobody is denying the fact that he was easily able to move out of the way - he was not in danger.

Raises the question whether they have any authority over US citizens who can’t be in breach of immigration laws?
Do they have the rights when ‘suspecting’ or is there some law about stopping protestors who (they say) are stopping their work?
Do they auto have the rights when to shoot to kill in any circumstances as they have federal powers?
I’m sure the US government will say they have (have said already in fact), but it’s interesting where their legal rights stop (or can be pushed to) and where they technically overstep (though obviously never in some folks’ book)
Are there rules about how/when to shoot as well? Cop shows I have seen 🙈give the warning.
