There are times when I wish my mum was alive to see various women and the terrible taste they have.

I know it well as my ds is at Bath Uni.
Probably the worst location they could have chosen bearing in mind the footfall around there.
Ds is so glad he is still at home for Xmas and doesn't have to be anywhere near Bath centre!

These people are just the absolute nadir of celebrity culture.

Holly Ramsay has never achieved anything. Nothing. No career, no public service, no intellectual or creative achievement - nothing except a spiteful spat with her mother in law (who seems pretty awful too, always ‘sharing her pain’ with the Daily Mail 🤢).

She’s pretty, sure, but only averagely, no more so than so many other girls of her age on any high street in the UK. Just look around! Other girls who, unlike her, might actually be doing something creative, or building businesses, or helping in their communities. Other girls who far better deserve attention than this poor little do-nothing rich girl!

None of that is her fault, of course (why should she be talented, or interesting?) but what is her fault is her relentless, tasteless, gurning, self-pitying self-publicising; and it shames us all that this self-publicising is succeeding.

She should be left to sink into obscurity. No one should buy a magazine featuring her and her celebmorontastic wedding - it’s revolting. Our media should be better than this.

I think the bulk of his success, career, and popularity has been in the US. He’s had more than a dozen TV shows in the States and has a net worth of $220 million. I was surprised at how popular he is when I moved here; he’s literally everywhere.

He has 4 reasturants in Vegas I didn't realise he was so huge in the US it is like he is a Brand he is .also big in Dubai

I actually feel quite sorry for Caroline Peaty. She must have made huge sacrifices when her son was young -, re his training - and there have been comments that Peaty got his head turned by the Ramsays.

Not excusing anything that happened where Adam got threats from his own brother but apparently it all started over a text that Caroline sent Holly over family being excluded from the engagement party

Caroline apparently has or had an active role in helping Peaty with his son. She was looking after him the weekend of the hen night but isn't good enough to go to the wedding

He's cut his mum out of his life. They no longer speak. Apparently the Peatys had the impression that Adam was ashamed of them after he started moving in the Ramsays circles

I read about the sacrifices his mum made to support his swimming career. Obviously don’t know what really happened, but surely a mum who went to such lengths to support her child can’t be that bad.

Why are people so bitchy on here?

The church was shut after my wedding and only open for my wedding, they only did my wedding on that day. I'm no one special but it gives them time to get the flowers etc ready to shut it before the ceremony and make sure it's set up for Sunday services.

And to the person who said they should have hired a registered venue, maybe they wanted a church wedding. He's religious after all.

I mean yes she made sacrifices but isn’t that what we as parents do. That doesn’t cancel out any wrong they may do in the future.

She should have taken any issues she had with her son’s engagement party or wedding to him not her.

A lot of sacrifices - much more than a lot of parents. Adam may look back on this decision and regret it in time
