To be annoyed with Kylie Minogue?

She’s on the One Show. My son looked up her age as he didn’t believe she could be pushing 60. She looks 30. What the heck?

A friend met her a few years ago & said she looked quite aged/bad work up close. I wonder if she’s had a fairly recent facelift? The results amazing now - good ones.

She looks great and way younger than her age - I’d say mid 40s. It’s nothing to do with not having kids - for every Helen Mirren there’s a Yasmin Le Bon or Julianne Moore or Robin Wright or Marion Cotillard (I could name many others). Agree with @OneBadKitty about the reasons why she looks as good as she does. Nobody looks that good without working at it.

I saw Kylie at the O2 in London in July and it was probably the best concert I've ever been to. Her voice was amazing and she kept up the energy the whole show. It was pure joy.

I think she looks very happy which is the main thing.

She looks good, but she's got that botoxed look. They all have too much expression coming through their noses because it's the only moving part left.

She also has one eyebrow botoxed much, much higher than the other. She thinks it looks characterful but it's just bizarre.

There’s nothing wrong with being any age. But she does not look 57.

Yes, I know women with children (a few have 4, 5, and even 6, but most have 2 or 3, several have 1) who are in their early 50s to late 60s, and they could pass for 7-8 years younger. And I know some women who have never had children who look 7-8 years older. It's not a given that women who don't have children will look 45 at 60, and women who do have children will look like they're 63 when they're 49. This is a myth often perpetuated by childfree women.

Look at Demi Moore how amazing she looks, and also The Kardashians/Jenners, all look great, (nearly all have kids.) Marie Osmond, Kylie's sister Dannii, Kim Wilde, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jane Seymour, Reese Witherspoon, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Uma Thurman, Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep, Tilda Swinton, the list is endless of women who have children who look younger than their age. I know plenty in real life too...

Kylie and Dannii have had work done over the years, but at least it's been tasteful.

Talking of Dannii Minogue. She is starring in a new drama/thriller that has Kym Marsh in it itt, starting 15th December on Ch5. The Imposter. Sounds right up my street!

Yes, this is me and my sibling. I have a few kids and look younger than my age. My younger sibling has wrinkles and looks older, with no kids. Everyone thinks she is the older sister by a long way.

The difference is down to speculation but I think there are several factors. First, genetics. My mother was like me and is still relatively youthful looking in her later 70s. Unlike me, my sister smoked for a few years, tanned a lot, and likes a drink sometimes. I have never smoked, never been into lying there soaking up the sun and tanning deliberately (though am very active with full sun protection), and have never been a drinker. I wonder if that makes a big difference?

I saw that advertised earlier and thought I might have to give it a go for the sheer randomness of having Kyn Marsh and Susan Kennedy on screen together!

Wow - that’s her first acting gig since 1990 when she was in Home and Away! I wonder what motivated her to return to acting?

I loved Dannii on the X Factor, glad she's returning to her roots. I thought she handled herself gracefully over the years, all those Kylie comparisons and unflattering comments can't have been easy.

Yes I think so. Smoking, and drinking lots of booze, and lots of suntanning (in the sun - and on sunbeds) is very ageing.

Yes I like her too. She and Kylie are both lovely, and pretty, and talented.

I really honestly don't think she looks fab.
She looks like a hybrid of a young and an old angry lady. Like Nicole Kidman. I really don't see the appeal in being so tweaked.
