I know it's not a brand new advert for this year, but I absolutely love the Amazon one, with the old ladies sledging; but I really hope they start showing the full-length one again once the Christmas season arrives - the one where you see their beautiful smiles as they remember themselves as young girls again, and the song doesn't change abruptly.
Personally, I think that showing Christmas adverts too early just spoils it and detracts from the specialness of the occasion, as by the time Christmas is actually on the horizon, it feels like it's already been around forever. I know it's just all about sales for the big businesses, mind; however, I would happily watch the Amazon ad all winter, as it isn't particularly Christmas-limited in the first place.
Worst one for me is the Asda advert, with the overexcited Grinch who looks like Gary Barlow. Not only is the ad itself deeply irritating, but they're trying to make out that they are a really cheap shop, when that just isn't true.
They could at least start with bringing back the Asda Reward Card savings that mysteriously vanished abruptly some while back; and also by not rolling the prices forward first, in preparation for 'rolling them back' to the previous (not especially cheap) price.
