She's dying isn't she?

Mum discharged herself from hospital today.

Hiatus hernia. She can't eat or drink anything. Literally throws it straight back up.

Can't walk because her lower back is buggered.

UTI in blood. Been given antibiotics but nothing seems to be giving her a boost.

Sat in a sodding chair for 36 hours at A&E. Not slept for at least 48. Said she just wanted to go home.

I'm really scared 😭

So sorry to hear that your first instincts were correct and that your mum was treated so poorly at the hospital. I hope she goes as peacefully as possible. What a nightmare for you all.

Just read your posts….been through it with my darling mum a couple of months ago. Sending you a big hug and strength .

I just have to say that it was an honour to be with dad at the end. Heartbreaking but a complete and absolute honour to be his advocate and by his side. Sending you hugs.

I’m so sorry OP. My lovely Mum left us on Monday in similar (but different) circumstances. It’s so hard. Wishing you all the best.

Yeah the initial admission and treatment by hospital was fairly dismal from OPs account

I’m so sorry, the only consolation is now she is out of pain. You did all you could and she will know how much you and your brother loved her.
