I like intellectual, well-educated men. Doesn't mean they can't be working class. My husband is from a wc background and an academic. But I would want someone who could share my interests and understand what I'm on about.

If I look at at a man and find him attractive how would i know what class of person he is, unless he's wearing blue overalls or a white coat with a stethoscope around his neck?

I'm not confident I can identify someone's social class on sight alone. Or by their accent.

Also, if you mean, all working class men are rugged and strong because they do manual labour, vs. all middle class men are weedy bookworms plays into some pretty poor class and gender stereotypes.

I find men with similar values and humour to me attractive. Those things can come from any social background. Some of the men I have seen on building sites are not at all attractive to me - possibly to do with past interactions of wolf-whistling or cat-calling. Not to mention "builders' bum".
