Why are they sooo glam half of them I’ve seen look like actual models and why are they so so thin?

I’m a fat (and old) one! You can pry the self tan and make up out of my cold, dead hands though! 😂

I spent a lot of time in Liverpool when I was young and was always struck by the women and girls hair. Nearly everyone had masses of it, long and curly. And it wasn't extensions in those days either. Maybe the water is great up there.

Irish heritage? My experience of Irish people is that they are often very good looking.

Sorry if this sounds discriminatory but I recognise a particular look which I associate with people of Irish heritage. (Like The Corrs - dark locks, pale skin, greenish eyes, fine bones).

I had a friend going on a girl's weekend to Liverpool and told her she should be aware that Liverpool girls are glam, so dress accordingly.

If a fairy godmother appeared I would wish her to magic me into a stunning Irish woman like Andrea Corr or Enya. I also think that some Irish men (and Scots from SW Scotland, who I think were originally from Ireland), are very handsome.

Got a shock the first time I went to Liverpool on a Saturday afternoon and saw girls walking round primark with their rollers in.
Liverpool glam is next level effort.

It's the same in Newcastle. We used to go for nights out at uni in 5 inch heels, big hair, a boob tube and Absolutely No Coat!

A lot of them are bottle blondes and were a little too much make up for my taste... but Liverpool lasses like to live it up and look their best.

My daughters noticed it when we used to go and see my parents, when they were little. They said "They dress very fancy here mummy"

I remember when we used to go clubbing.. it's was high heels, mini dresses and no coat (even in the freezing cold) because you had to look good.

I love it, more power to them. I flew home from Liverpool airport on New Year’s Eve a few years ago and I reckon I was the only woman in the airport without rollers in!

I grew up near Belfast and it was full glam all the way for my group of friends. I live near london now and it's way more casual here, which I actually prefer

The women in Liverpool are beautiful, for sure but god only knows what happened to the men 🫣. The men either look like weasels or potatoes.

The women are naturally beautiful, although you might not see it, as the culture is to get glammed up.

You can’t be seen in anything 2 weeks on the trott. You must get glammed up Friday through Sunday.

It’s a bit of a nightmare when I go home to the pool from down south. I’ve got to plan my outfits, get my hair done, nails done and chuck all my makeup in the suitcase otherwise I’ll be told “I’ve let myself go”.

I disagree. All my male rellies are 6ft and drop dead gorgeous.

There are some chubbers, but if you look carefully, there are some stunning looking men, usually of Irish decent.

I’m a southerner but Liverpool is one of my favourite British cities. I haven’t noticed the beautiful girls however, so I’ll look out for them next time I’m there.

Yep! This was always awful for me at school. The others in my year were so pretty and well put together and I just had no idea what to do with myself 😅
