Was looking forward to having some strawberries with some nice thick greek yoghurt I had in the fridge and it turns out I just bought boring natural yoghurt by mistake 😭

Plus a couple of spares, yes.

We have lots of forks.

We have, somehow, lost 2 out of 4 of the nice ones. The proper weight ones with nice, rounded handles. Usual suspects all coming up clean. It's a mystery. And also a tiny tragedy.

I was scammed today to the tune of £3.47.

Still had to cancel my card though which is actually a massive PITA as school is back on Monday and not yet got the trousers or shoes 😕

Let my daughter cut my hair last night. One side is longer than the other. Now I’m at work bobbing my head like I’m dodging imaginary flies every time someone walks by. Pretty sure I’m confusing people and possibly starting a new trend.🤣🤣

My toenail varnish on my right big toe has chipped, 4 days before the end of my holiday.

I went into work for the last time today (I’m retiring) and did feel a tiny pang of sadness when I had to hand my swipe card, keys etc back as I felt a bit like a banished person (quite rightly as my workplace has to be a secure site).
It didn’t help that I went into the staff room to check my pigeonhole one last time and I didn’t have one!

DD ripped some of the property cards in my Monopoly set earlier 😢

Laughable to anyone else I know, but it was my great-great-grandparents’ set from 1940. I loved playing with it as a child and it’s the only thing I’ve ever inherited, so it did upset me!

The server at the bakery put my fresh cream, iced bun in a paper bag and spun it round to twist the ends .... 😭😭😭

You should check YouTube as I bet someone will show you how to unclog your machine. I unclogged mine (amazing what came out of it) and I’m useless at that sort of stuff. There was a little door, bottom right.

Tried on lots of nice proper trousers for work. I generally look ok in jeans, hourglass figure. The only ones that fit my waist were so baggy they made my arse look like a pancake. It was sad.

I am trying to eat a healthier diet but with a few treats still too. I fancied a little pot of creamy posset for pudding but my tired brain bought panna cotta by mistake.

It was not a treat.

I have my face wash in a little squirty bottle so I can sling it in a weekend bag. The top came off it on Monday and promptly disappeared. I have many squirty bottles with their matching plastic tops but I had kept this pair intact for so long I was bereft...

We just got back from holiday (lovely lush hotel) but it wasn’t as warm as I was expecting and was weirdly dark in the mornings due to an odd thing with the king setting the time zone wrong for the latitude, so it sort of felt like autumn already and now I’m back in the UK and feeling all discombobulated.

I’m going to London overnight to have a lovely, fun time for a friend’s birthday and I’m going to miss my DP and 10 month old DD.

I have a rule when I do the food shop that we have to buy something we've never tried before

Bought 2 tumbler glasses on holiday, not expensive I just loved them and a souvenir. Told DH and kids ti be careful with them. I broke one today, ive only been home 5 days !

That's awful! Genuinely. 😱 We have A List that gets printed out before every holiday and tea bags are the top item, in bold and underlined. Even if we're not going abroad, I have to have Welsh Brew.

Our usual Chinese was closed down for the holidays so we ordered from a different one nearby and it was terrible 😭

I ate it out of spite to get my money’s worth but it just wasn’t good.
