I’m just getting into Old Hollywood films. I’ve only watched a handful so far, but right now my favourite is Bringing Up Baby (staring Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant)

What’s your favourites?

An Affair to Remember or anything with Cary Grant to be honest. I was kind of "brought up" on Crosby and Hope films and have a real soft spot for them. Also Danny Kaye in Walter Mitty.

I grew up watching Calamity Jane. I love it! Haven’t seen any other Doris Day films, mind.

Ghost and Mrs Muir. It looked like it was filmed on the UK coast and was very disappointed it was US based.

Rear Window, absolute classic and completely gripped me when I first saw it

3luckystars · 12/07/2025 22:40

I love Blue Hawaii the Elvis film. If anyone else was in it, it wouldn’t be any good, but it’s my favourite of his films.

I loved Casablanca, and I don’t know if this counts but the Poseidon Adventure too.
