Evening/morning, Apologies im posting here for traffic

Ive just ordered mounjaro, currently waiting for my photos to be "accepted"

Always said I wouldn't, that I'd just be able to lock in and be fine.. 'i've done it before' but its been a couple of years and im just miserable.

Tried the first website that came up and I wasn't considered at all, so the next site I added an extra 7lbs. Which is most probably true, even at kindest! Not weighed myself since I outgrew a size 12 which I swore to myself I never would again.

I've just heard so many success stories from using it, I do feel its gonna be a quick fix!? Ive flicked through threads and articles and had friends experiences but id like to hopefully chat with someone now about it.

Im currently-
50% just get it done its stupid to wait til you get even fatter
50% dont take it, not worth it, just try harder to cut back/move more,
(even though you've already tried that and its just not working currently, mainly because I feel too fat and lumpy to move)

Just need some unbiased level heads please MNers!

I'm doing my homework and have been thinking about whether I should use wli for over a year @NoTouch. (One of my main considerations is ongoing cost).

I don't think you replied to those comments on here about the high risk being high risk of abuse. Rather than the content of the drug itself? This is why I pulled you up on it.

Frankly your tone @tobee from your first attack on my post calling me a "random" talking "scaremongering shit" to this one suggesting I needed "pulled up" is well off.

Abuse is only part of the reason it is high risk, the medication causes dramatic changes in metabolic function which is very beneficial but also means there is the possibility of harm if not used responsibility and monitored carefully.

As well as off label use risks, there are potentially serious physical side effects from the medication or previously undiagnosed conditions, psychological risks, risks from individual responses, patient mistakes, poor titration decisions.

It is a potent drug which needs proper oversight and treated with respect just like any powerful prescription only medication.

Anyway I don't think this is getting anywhere, keep doing your homework, good luck if you do decide to give it a try and I hope it works for you. Have a lovely rest of your weekend.

You too @NoTouch 👍

WLI are serious medicines and it’s reckless to lie to get them. It’s not a quick fix. I’ve been on them since January and have suffered daily with nausea, indigestion and on occasions constipation.

Get active and reduce your portion sizes and you should see that 2st disappear in about the same time as using WLI.

WLI have side effects and complication risks so it’s not something to do on whim, it’s something where you have to weight up the risks frim the medication versus the risks associated with having a BMI over 30 (or 27 if you have health issues) and struggling to loose weight without the help. It’s better to weight yourself honestly, work out your BMI accurately and decide on that basis. If nothing else the motivation of seeing the scales going down is a major motivation.
