Pumpkin seeds stopped my leaking!

JemimaLikesADuck · 03/07/2025 12:20

After years of random leaking and dribbling after finishing on the loo, I have no issues!

I saw great reviews for a product that claimed to help with leaks but it was pricey. The main ingredient was pumpkin seed oil so I started eating a large handful of pumpkin seeds a day. After 3 weeks I noticed a difference and after 2 months the problem has gone. I can't believe it. Bit annoying that I'd seen a specialist who didn't think to tell me about this. If you are having the same symptoms you really need to try pumpkin seeds. I want to shout it from the rooftops.

How does it work then?

Moonmelodies · 03/07/2025 12:22

Do you use a seed to plug the urethra? Sounds awkward.

Thisismynewname23 · 03/07/2025 19:08

I’ve heard this! I will try it thank you, it’s the main ingredient in is it Jude?

User050509 · 03/07/2025 19:56

Amazing!! Can I ask, what was your diagnosis (if you got one!). I’m in early stages of referral for exactly the same issue and GP can’t tell me why. Any advice would be massively appreciated as I’m early 30s so absolutely devastated.

ButteredRadish · 03/07/2025 20:24

Just buy Pumpkin Seed Oil supplements (2000mg) from Amazon, they’re what I take and they’re fab!

Apricot seeds?!

Haribosweets · 03/07/2025 21:43

I need to try this! I've got same symptoms and been back and forth to hospital, seeing physio and internal examinations - I discharged myself in the end. Thanks OP

Softpebbles · 03/07/2025 22:02

@ButteredRadish which ones do you buy?

wearyourpinkglove · 03/07/2025 22:07

@Imlazyandiknowit99 what absolute nonsense. As if there is a circle of doctors keeping a secret about apricot seeds. If anything you can get cyanide poisoning from apricot seeds. Do your research. My husband is terminally ill with cancer and I find all this misinformation highly offensive and dangerous.

Sorry to derail the thread. There is evidence that pumpkin seeds can help with bladder issues though!

Bellavida99 · 03/07/2025 22:11

Not sure if it’s connected but a nutritionist recommended my partner had a handful of pumpkin seeds a day for prostate and he’s been really pleased with results

I suppose if they kill you the cancer dies too, so technically yes Grin

I would not be doing this without medical advice.

JemimaLikesADuck · 04/07/2025 22:25

@User050509 I didn't get a diagnosis really. I think maybe he said it was overactive bladder but it was all very wishy washy. You've nothing to lose trying the pumpkin seeds.

People like you make me sick You're an absolute ghoul that feeds off people's fear and misery.

JMSA · 04/07/2025 23:17

It depends on the reason for the incontinence, surely. If the vaginal muscles have weakened through childbirth, I don’t think pumpkin seeds will sort it out. I could be wrong though! And it’s fantastic that you have found something that works for you, OP 😊

notapizzaeater · 05/07/2025 01:36

The main ingredient in the Jude stuff is pumpkin seed oil. Like the other poster I just buy it from Amazon

Apricot kernels contain a substance that converts to cyanide in the body.

Lurkingandlearning · 05/07/2025 05:49

That’s interesting, OP. Also Once the pee stops, rocking back and forth a couple of times releases that last bit of remaining pee.
