I had YouTube on started to watch and fell asleep😂

I think a lot of people took the Black part of the theme to mean wear black rather than bright colours. I liked Zendeya’s white suit and Lewis’s outfit.

I liked these two gentlemen’s outfits, the waistcoat was more what I expected.

Most of the outfits looked amazing! Makes me want to go buy a hat for church on Sunday...

@Harassedevictee - I think it’s highly unlikely that any invitee didn’t understand the theme. There’s been enough publicising of it, even for civilians.

Some of the men did look beautiful. On the whole I felt the women who adopted double breasted trouser suits - to portray a male dandy - fared badly as the structures really didn’t suit them.

Zendaya, and the other woman who turned up in exactly the same outfit looked wonderful in their understated ivory suits though.

Venus Williams was mugged by Lacoste. So clumsy and wintery and sartorially outshone by her goddess-like sibling.

But mostly I was gobsmacked by the number of times Anna Wintour was able to repeat the word ‘Black’ in her interview. I winced every time.

@PrimevalStomp I was just disappointed about the amount of black and grey dresses from the pictures I saw. I was hoping for more peacock colours.

I’m just catching up. Before I fell asleep, I saw someone being wheeled out of the hotel in a big box - hysterical! Not sure who it was.

It seems many completely misunderstood the theme and/or were scared.

Lots of 70s flares - seems like Kendrick’s Super Bowl style will become trendy. I’m old enough to remember them from 1st time around.

The guys were standout amazing! Love the peacocking.

I don’t know who 95% of people are, and am terrible with faces, so I just enjoy the show, the art, the scandal, the inspiration, with no background needed.

My favourite male look was Diljit Dosanjh. He's not particularly famous in the west so didn't get much coverage but looks amazing

I was surprised by Khaby - only know him as a bit of a joker/YTuber kind of person and thought his outfit was very sophisticated.
Loved Colman’s B&W outfit, his husband looked gorgeous too in purple, and also liked that green one on the young actress Joey sth.
Overall, I did think it was disappointing.
Can’t believe Wisdom Kaye was not invited.

That’s a gorgeous pic of Zendaya. There was a lovely moment of her admiring Diana Ross as she waited behind her on the stairs. I fell asleep watching the stream and reading this thread!

I’ve rather enjoyed this thread. Almost all the outfits are interesting, stylish (although none to my taste!), not modish thankfully. Only disappointing element was how many women interpreted the theme to mean “trouser suits” or “pinstripes”. The men’s clothes were almost all amazing.

Have to say, you can tell which ones were about the clothes and which were about the wearer (looking at you KK, Stormzy and Gigi). Teams Taylor was ⭐️

LV was hit and miss here imo - Pusha T and Zendaya were the standouts for me, Doechii was okay, Jenni had an unfortunately placed Rosa Parks, Sabrina Carpenter needed pants, and the less said about Future the better.
