My take on black Dandism - although, yes the Church going on on a Sunday and that one guy who just stood out, like he knew Zoot suits were out years ago but he managed something similar but not a simple copy that would have looked liked costume and a bit laughable, who was King Dandy. But, I'd be appropriating like a demon and couldn't do that. I'd go late 18th/early 19th century Dandy because although that's by and large white, I've seen paintings of a black upperwardly mobile men who rock a dandy or beau or macaroni style that can be worn by a white woman without her being blind to the context, etc.
